Seeing and finding evidence for something are two different things. But just because the evidence is not there yet does not mean we should not accept the possibility. Agnosticism is the closest to what I believe I'd say. I want there to be a god and I want there to be something after death but I do not restrict myself because of my belief. I do believe in science however and a good scientist would never discount something because a lack of evidence. There is no evidence to prove that a god exists but there is no evidence to prove a deity doesn't exist. I find it funny that armchair philosopher's and scientists discredit the theory of a god but jump on the theory of evolution as if its fact. I'm not saying either is right or wrong but people seem to accept the theory of evolution as if it is a fact of life when it is still nothing but a theory. The same goes for religion I suppose.

There is a difference in what I think you are referring to. There is evolutionary biology and then there is the idea and philosophy behind evolution which is still fact. Yes they have found evidence for evolution and I am not saying it is right or wrong but it still is a theory, and it is still in its infancy in my opinion.

Well there is ofcourse the theory on 'how' and 'what from' WE eventually came from, but that is so far back, we can never really know unless we search on something 'more close' to us now, in which the answer now is with insects. Insects have the amazing ability to rapidly adept to a certain environment. Sometimes just a generation apart.

But yeah, on where 'we' came from is still a theory. But it is as much as a theory in the way the stories of the Bible are 'true'.
