Did you know that in Japanese, there is no actual differentiation between genders in pronouns? Sure, there are some pronouns that are more feminine than others, and pronouns that are more masculine, but they are used between genders equally. So anime can REALLY screw with the gender perception of someone who speaks Japanese and watches it in Japanese.

Crona is a girl... I googled it and it said it was confirmed in issue 60 of the manga or something when she was covering her breasts

isn't it also kinda the point that you're not supposed to know what Chrona is? it adds to Chrona's mystery and makes Chrona that much more difficult to relate to, making Chrona feel that much more like an out-cast.
