That Mew actually was behind the truck. I found it once, but in my old age I have forgotten.. It involved a pokemon with surf and some other shit though. And you had to do it before the SS. Anne leaves the docks. So you needed someone to trade you a pokemon with surf. How you got past the badge barrier I cant remember though, perhaps the area is exempt from needing a badge for surf.

pukingrainbows (08/09/2012) [-] No. It's not there. There is nothing there. You get cut on the ss anne and the lose against a trainer on the ship before leaving. You'll wake up in the pokemon center but the ship wont leave. Go until you get surf, come back and surf over to the truck. You can't use any HM's on it. It does absolutely nothing. There are other glitches which will get you Mew, but the truck is not one of them.

I remember getting stuck forever at the Snorelax, almost beating Gold, having tons of cards, toys, and plushes, and then having my family convince me that Pokemon was evil (I was like 8, I'm 17 now), and having me burn all my cards and break my games.
