I don't understand anything, I played Yu-gi-oh as a kid.
**** was awesome.
But I know the feel of the new ones not being as great as the old ones.
What the **** is an XYZ, seriously, holy ****, why did you bastards change it, I miss Summoned Skull.

Story Time.
>Be 6
>Dad didn't want to buy me Pokemon cards so I asked Mom
>Mom buys me first pack of Pokemon cards ever
>Charizard
>"Oh that's pretty cool" (Don't know much about Pokemon at the time, friend introduced me to it a few weeks ago.)
>Don't realize I just pulled the rarest and most valuable card in my first ever pack
>First pack breaks the dam, Dad ends up buying me 7 more packs that week
>Venusaur + Blastoise pulls
>I was the luckiest ************* 6 year old in the world
>Armed with my 88 cards I want to go trade with some big kids at the playground
>Big kids (10 years old or so) happily accept me into the trading circle
>They start to teach me about Pokemon, what's rare and what's not
>Find out that star cards are common and circle cards are rare
>Luckiest AND STUPIDEST ************* 6 year old in the world
>Over the next 10 minutes I get bled for my Venusaur, Blastoise, Pinsir and Clefairy (Other 3 rares were trainers)
>I'm convinced I just made the best trades in the world, and it's just my first week
>Big kid brings out la creme de la creme. A ******* Meowth
>Convinces me it's the rarest and most valuable card in the game because the cat is sitting on a pile of gold
>Says he'll trade me for my Charizard
>Happily accept
>Go home happy as a pig in ****, playing with my new cards
>Find out a couple days later about the true rarity of cards
>MFW those kids were the biggest assholes I have ever encountered, and I'm the stupidest ******* kid in the whole world.
>Still don't have a Venusaur

Try this...
I had a Charizard card, too. My cousin asks me about it a bunch of times, and I refuse to trade for a long while. Finally I break down and ask what he'd have in return. A shiny Lapras. Still not as good as my Charizard, but he claims it to be worth even more. Being the clueless kid I was to rarity and worth, I agreed to trade. I proceed to tell my older sister about this cool new card I got for my Charizard. "Wait, what? No. Dark Charizard is worth way more than that Lapras." My face probably showed absolute confusion, because at that age I didn't know how my family is made up of complete assholes and liars. I ask her to go get my card back for me, but she refuses. Saying she's tired of doing that sort of thing. (She's never had to do it all that much before, but she likes to think she was some sort of protector to me. Yeah, whatever, sis. **** you. If you really were some sort of protector, you would have beat his ass for lying and taking advantage of my young age.)

To this day, I've not forgiven most of my family for doing lots of little things like that...
And that's one of the incidents that started it.

Dark cave? When I was first playing Pokemon Blue, I got so lost in Mt. Moon that by the time I got to Cerulean City I had a freaking Blastoise.

Back in the day we didn't have the internet to look up things like how to get MissingNO. I also got through the dark caves without HM:Flash by pressing start. It illuminated the screen for a split second.

tl;dr
Childhood feels

I was the odd child. Every wondered how I knew how to play the pokemon card game. Little to their knowledge I read the manual...I know I'm a freak.... a GameFreak!
Also had the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the gameboy...Yea that was fun too.

I would, but I use roms because the actual games use batteries to hold the save file and once that batter dies after like 5 years, so does everything you worked for.
