Yeah, as long as you are ovualting, and since she didn't get pregnant I presume that it was during the time period when it's the furthest away from the actuall ovulation (women can get pregnant from sex that occured slightly befor/after the ovulation. but there is a so called "safe" part of the month, however to determine when it is can prove very diffucult, and that's why alot of people are very pro condoms, since they are the only way to be close to 100% sure of not geting pregnant.
