The Fastest object ever created in the world is a US satelight created by NASA, capable of going 14 Mps (Miles Per second), 50,400 Mph (Miles per hour).

Or, light.

I don't always thumb, but when I do, I thumb very decent and thought-through content. Interesting read OP, keep it up.

Actually scratch that, thumb'd down. Comment #337 www.funnyjunk.com/channel/fucking-science/THE+TOP+10+MOST+EXTREME+THINGS/RbedGEo/337#337 shows that you copy-pasta'd with no credit. Fuck you OP.

1) AKA Bose-Einstein Condensate.

4) Bullshit. Po-210 has a half-life of about 20 weeks. Radon-222 has a half-life of just under 1/2 weeks. The 118th element is Ununoctium-294: half-life of 890 nano-seconds.

Po-210 is not the most radioactive substance known... it MAY however, be the most radioactive substance (of the elements that are stable enough that we can produce a non-microscopic amount of the isotope).

Even a speck of Radon-222 would be so radioactive that if you did, somehow, collect a grain of it... it would probably turn itself into plasma from the sheer power of its own decay.

How is He2 even created He is a noble gas and therefore stable
User avatar #324 to #317 - wisdombranch (08/08/2012) [-]
Trace amounts of He are found dissolved in fossil fuel deposits. Also, [He] = (an Alpha emission from radioactive decay) + 2 electrons. Not too hard to make, but easier to pump out of the ground at the moment.

It's the fact that he copied an entire post from a website and posted it.
User avatar #356 to #353 - wyrddarcnyzz (08/08/2012) [-]
How is that any different from what 90% of the rest of FJ content is? I'm just glad that in this case, it's something genuinely informative, so it could be more classified as the spread of knowledge, rather than cancer.
#357 to #356 - jetmb (08/08/2012) [-]
It's the fact that he could of at least gave credit, and the rest is actually funny. Which, is the purpose of Funnyjunk. It was informational and pretty good, but OP should have at least gave credit. Especially when the website was so easily found. He basically copy and pasted.

I love all the science and shit, I see that you're working on your creative writing though... maybe leave that for other subjects. Really though what was the point of saying the diamond armored car hitting a train if you were going to add (Not Really)?

Great comp though.
