When the movie started, they were on a plane. The voices were realistic and crazy distorted when the plane door opened. Then Bane talked.... I thought Sean Connery was doing some sort of narration at first. Bane's voice was loud as shit compared to the movie volume.

Actually, it was to "torture his soul" by taunting him with the fact that his city is falling right in front of the entire world, and he's powerless to stop it. He was supposed to die afterwards, having to bear the guilt of not doing anything to save everyone. Saying it was to teach him a lesson makes it seem like Bane intended for him to escape and defeat him..

Bane then gets friendzoned

Anyone else who became disappointed when Mirande Tate stepped forward as the mastermind? I mean i just didn't buy she was so hardcore and could have escaped the prison, let alone control a massive underground army?

Whereas Bane you thought "This guy is badass, strong and fucking smart... Ofc hes the leader!"

In the comics, bane was always a puppet of someone else. And Talia al Ghul is quite the badass. Wayne and Talia end up together in the comics though. The ending to Rises was disappointing in that regard.

You didn't see him dead, you just saw him lying down at the end, they never said he was dead, everyone has only assumed he was. He might actually still be alive.

Christopher Nolan sure made it seem that way for the last 70% of the movie...

I mean in the way that it doesn't end good, you know, saved the world n stuff...
