Actually he still wouldn't be able to see after the operation because he was blind all his life, the first few months of your life all you see is blur, then after time your brain starts to put together all this random images for you to actually see, but since he doesn't have any of this a blind person would just see blur

justanoreo (08/02/2012) [-] I think that finding someone attractive is a mix of conditioning and symmetry in the face. Different cultures are taught that certain things are beautiful. Our culture has pictures of "beautiful" men and women with symmetrical faces(usually edited) and optimal fitness and so on so we're being conditioned to believe that's what is attractive.

There's the whole golden standard of beauty which determines if someone is attractive on a scientific level taking into consideration facial symmetry and such. But who knows, different people like different things, some people like fit women and some like fat women. It's rather hard to say.

Some pigs are born without assholes. The females are okay because the shit goes through the vagina but the males die. Or they would die that is, if a farmer finds a male piglet like that he would kill it, nobody would want to die from something like that. only blindness acquired later in life can be restored depending on the damage.

Of course, we are naturally attracted to each other, but what attracts us is unique to our era. Being chubby used to be a very attractive trait as it would show the amount of money you had, but the image men and women go for today are much different, hormones don't do that, you are brought up learning what to be attracted to. Some exceptions may apply, such as fetishes, or homosexuality...
