You see + and - rank the same and do not have priority over eachother the way x does, so you can just do them in order making it 13.

But let's assume your theory is correct, the anwser would be 6, not 4. You seem to have pulled some extra 1's out of your sleeve. As stated above there are only fifteen 1's, one of them being 1x0 making a 0 and therefore only 14 ones, which means your theory would end up like this: 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 10 and 1+1+1+1 = 4 leading to 10 - 4 = 6

P.S. if you were joking from the start please don't break my illusion that i had an argument on the internet without insults being thrown around :P ignorance is bliss and all that.
