this guy is insensitive, and a ranting fool. he does not have to like america, but people murder in every country every day. so, sure give america the finger because every other country is free of sins and flaws. tell yourself that we are so horrible, but remember that we are all part of the same speicies. do not assume you know every person here because you have a television.

he has a mighty aggressive way of not caring, also he doesn't realize that it's traumatizing for people because this happened in a place that wasn't under war, this was just one civilian shooting up other civilians. I understand his point, but I think he's got a real stupid way of going about it.

I agree with some of the things that he says (such as giving a damn about the people in Iraq) but he didn't need to insult the u.s. in general just because there are quite a few crazy and idiotic people here. Sure we've made some ******** decisions in our time but who hasn't ?

Now the problem is that we are blowing this way out of proportion. At my university, a bunch of people were killed by a man with a death wish. He walked into a bar with an assault rifle and started shooting. Just wanted to be shot. All of that is going to be lost and so much more news that we need to here. Things that the public DESPERATELY needs to hear...like about the election, or the economy...and if the president is really visiting the families of the victims, I understand where he's going, but the tax expense of that is though the roof. The american public shouldn't have to pay for the president's personal trips to grieving families. It really hurts me to say that, but it's the truth. It's not like he can just walk onto a plane and go visit them. His personal aircraft has to be prepared, security has to scope out and close down the surroundings, patrolling the area with aircraft...it's so expensive for something that doesn't need to be done just because the american public has latched on to it.

That's what we did, we took something insignificant that is no worse than thousands of soldiers dying or people starving, we latched onto it.
