I wouldn't recommend the coughing during an injection one...generally staying still during an injection is a good idea, you know, so you don't break the needle.

If you really want to relieve as much pain as you can during an injection, don't look at the injection as it's happening, focus on something else. Even better, if you have a friend or family member or even a nurse nearby, make conversation. Relax as much as you can, and try to focus on other things. It's still gonna pinch, but it's only a pinch.
