I don'tget it. It's just a basic explanation of how society prevents people from doing stupid shit without having everybody learn not to do it by doing it.
Every time a monkey climbs up the ladder, everyone gets a cold shower. The 1st Gen learned that the hard way, by getting 5 cold showers. The next generations didn't get a single cold shower.
This isn't a very good "anti-societal norms" post. It's just showing that some societal norms are there for a reason. You're told not to do something as a kid, because doing so gives everyone a cold shower.
