Civil Unions you mean and no they aren't in all states only like 6, they don't give the same rights as marriage not even close, and other states don't recognize a different state's Civil Union like they do marriage.

I don't know much about america but in scotland they are caalled civil marriages and they have the same rights as a church marriage yet there are still fights to try and legalize gay church marriage. Can you give me an example of a right that gay married couples dont have in america that straight ones do?
