Oil? Bad for the environment.
Nuclear power? No way! Nuclear = evil!
Hydro-power? Disrupts ecosystem.
Coal power? Too much CO2.
Well, to be honest I think I'd rather live in a world with massive sea walls and air conditioners than live like fucking cavemen.

Yea, I haven't seen too many complaints about Hydro power, also you forgot solar, as well as alternative fuels from ethanol.
As for the graph you are posting, the spikes in temperature are directly correlating to large shifts to industrialization by large population counties, as well as a visibly thinner O-Zone layer.
Now, I doubt The U.S. Alone has the means to curb global pollution and environmental decay, however it is essential to identify the problem as a human problem, so if things do get hairy, we can at least attempt to fix them.

Its funny but pretty sad also. How the fuck did men became so retarded and dependant to oil.
Hey look at all of the people who are suddenly energy, climate, and political experts!
I love how people seem to think we can simply stop using oil, they forget that oil is the basis of many plastics, so the computer they used to make the website / images would have been made from and possibly by the very thing they're fighting against.

The problem is there are none that are as easy and versatile as hydrocarbon based polymers.
Your keyboard?
Mouse? Plastic
The chair you are sitting on? Likely contains plastic
Waterproof jacket? Plastic
Kevlar vest? Plastic
It is just so goddamn versatile.

Technically we are still in an ICE AGE so yeah Polar bears will be swimming eventually anyway
ice age implies the presence of extensive ice sheets in the northern and southern hemispheres.[1] By this definition, we are still in the ice age that began 2.6 million years ago at the start of the Pleistocene epoch, because the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets still exist.[2]

1. "an ice age implies the presence of extensive ice sheets in the northern and southern hemispheres." it sound like you pulled this definition out of your ass
2.The first sentence on Wikipedia says "An ice age, or more precisely, a glacial age, is a period of long-term reduction in the temperature of the Earth's surface and atmosphere, resulting in the presence or expansion of continental ice sheets, polar ice sheets and alpine glaciers."
