I thumbed you up even though I am a huge Half Life fan. I just find that it is greatly superior to other old titles such as Halo. Then again, I don't particularly like Halo. Never played it, but I just feel like TF2 and Tribes and League is enough for me.

I get your opinion, but I just think that the experience is great. It's not as linear that you get tired of it quickly, and it's pretty fun.

It's a legitimate opinion. I actually think the story is quite good, and it's simple without being trivial or unnecessary. And what you said about the detours is true, but it's what happens during the detours that makes the games good for me. For me the series just delivers consistently good, somewhat challenging gameplay. They aren't magnificent games, but they are entertaining, which is really all I want.

I'm far more eager for Far Cry 3 than I am for HL3, though

None were full games, and note there were only two expansion packs.

Valve is considered to be the most 'good guy' company out there, contrast to EA which is the stereotypical villain company that tries to get every profit it can.

Valve produced Steam, a major virtual video game distribution network, which is known for creating generous sales in contrast to everybody else's virtual video game network (Games For Windows Live, whatever EA has, etc.)

Gabe Newell is also outspoken and isn't afraid to place his opinion on matters, he's even criticized Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 openly.

Also, pretty much every game Valve has delivered was amazing, despite it's inability to make it on the deadline. Quality takes time, and Valve delivers quality.

First off, this is a nutshell. More in that, it presents details on every bit of image for you to look up when you want to know more information about it. A lot of nutshells don't give you that opportunity.
Second, this is something that EA's been doing for YEARS. This isn't a blatant parody, it's an informational that sums up why people hate EA so much, and why EA is such a big problem, and it's more than just excessive bullshit DLCs.

Third, don't try to walk in acting like a political genius if you're going to sway a well-made informational without giving any kind of counter-input. You don't have to be aware of what EA does to be interested in this video, first of all. And second, this is all truth.
