Yeah, I don't say he created it just for the money. But the truth is that the Foo Fighters aren't even half as good as Nirvana, and in my opinion their popularity is not deserved, like many other groups nowadays. Like always, having an opinion is a mistake here, but hey, thumbs are not a currency, I really don't give a shit.

Well of course they aren't as good as Nirvana but thats to be expected. They in my opinion are a good band. (better than most of the shit these days).

Before I enlarged this there was a moment of doubt as to whether it was Dave, or Aragorn playing guitar.

I just went to listen nickelback's music again I keep forgetting what it sounds like now I know why I keep forgetting, my brain forces itself to forget over and over again.

Well, two that receive huge hate are Bieber and Rebecca Black and other similar "artists," and they are both downright awful and have all of their music and most of their lyrics written and preformed by other people, which takes away pretty much any pretense of being musical figures.

Yes, but why do you think they are so bad? Their songs might be very similar to each other and to other bands' music, but they aren't as awful as Bieber or Minaj or some of these other characters.

Well, most of these shitty studio artists for starters. all they do is push a god damn button
or push / pull a knob or lever for their "music" while a producer does half of it
and people shovel the crap up and buy it. But nickelback ill give him credit...

Well, just the fact that they actually make music on instruments and would be able to do a proper concert--not just stand on stage lip-syncing to computer-generated autotuned bullshit--gives them far more credibility than all of the others we're talking about. I agree that their lyrics are often shitty, but I don't think Nickelback is awful. I'm just not a fan.

everyone has an opinon and i think everyone should be able to be listened to, thought of

If I may? I do actually like their music up to... oh, about 2007 or so. Yeah, they might not be as technically sound as some other bands, but they've got a good few songs that aren't bad at all. I think that people trash on Nickelback because, in part, it's popular, and in part that they compare them to their favorite bands. If you take them on their own merits, Nickelback really isn't a bad band-- they've just got a fairly narrow fanbase.

But Justin Bieber doesnt write and play his own songs, he only influences them a little, his managers and producers decide what kind of song he must write to appeal his gullible audience. Same goes for Nikki Minaj and Lil' Wayne. Search for the weakness of todays society, make a song about it, everyone listens to it. "To fill the gap", while only have a small amount of influence in the song and ofcourse, just to 'sing' it.

Nickelback works together with the whole band, creating a song that has good meanings and sometimes even a global 'call for help'. Ok, sometimes the songs just look-a-like but the majority stands on its own and its the artist performing their own 'art'. Art is also subjective, but that is just my opinion on the matter.

I really do miss back when people actually had to put effort into making something worth
