I don't know how many of you follow basketball but so far I'm liking the new arena for the Sacramento Kings. The restaurant I work at in downtown was steadily busy which was awesome for us. Seeing the players a lot more now since the arena is close by. Also saw some Timberwolves players in downtown today since they play here tomorrow. Our city generally doesn't flock to athletes that much but we do acknowledge them we just let them be and look around.

The outside is awesome, planning to go to a game this season but heard inside was really beautiful too. Still construction for a hotel near and finishing a new plaza before March Madness. The Macy's right next to it has been able to stay open this whole time.

Yeah....this thing. Worth 8 million. Local artists were upset that a lot of them weren't contacted to help make something. I think this sculpture won't last too long before we decide to sell it and hopefully get something better.

Fuck you Nashville. You trade Shea Weber to the Eastern Conference in a deal that everyone thought you won in a landslide meanwhile Subban has been mediocre at best (he has 5 points but he's a -6 through 7 games) and Weber is tearing up the East like they all bullied him in high school. Thanks a lot for making us have to deal with him.

I am currently in talks with a local promotion about training to become a pro wrestler.

Pretty much the only things holding me back are transportation and the necesseties for training.

What are your opinions about this?

I suppose it varies.

It may also vary on one's talent; the recommended amount of months to train is 6, but some guys actually got finished in three. That right there just cut half of the original full payment.

mine would probably take about 6 months just to get me conditioned (and learning to sell). I know the business inside and out, so training me on other stuff would hardly take any effort.

I was just thinking a lot about the selling last night.

There is a time when one would have to take a shoulder bump and sell it as a part of training.

It sounds kinda fun, but then again, bruises are bound to happen

You've got your shot, take it. I had the opportunity to become a comic-book illustrator a few years back, it didn't work out, but I did my best and I never once had to wonder what would've happened otherwise. Drink it, as I understand. Rubbing it in has shown great promise in treatment of skin cancers, but I imagine that you'd want to take it internally to treat a neurological condition. Similarly, I've heard of a strain of THC-free marijuana used for medicinal purposes. I've never touched it, myself. But there's plenty of information to look at, and I know the stuff's easy enough to come by. Darealsnooki, you might want to look at this as well.

Don't get me wrong, it's 90% percent awesome. But you get the occasional hippie who's apalled to hear that not only does Canada "still have an army", but that buying and owning guns is perfectly legal, despite common superstitions to the contrary. That, and a shitload of our stores are still closed on sundays even though we have one of the highest populations of non-believers/non-practicing people per capita on Earth.

HEY MOTHERFUCKERS! IT'S WEDNESDAY, IT'S PREDICTION TIME!
Teams on bye week, Rams, Miami, NYG, Pitt, SF, and Ravens.

Thursday
Jax @ Tenn, TNF knows what they're doing here, cable tv ratings are at an all time low, so why worry about ratings with a bottom of the barrel matchup here? Both teams have 4 losses, but considering Tenn's home record (minus their win against the Browns), I give Jax the win here, 34-27.

Sunday
Wash vs Cincy, Wembley Stadium, Wash coming off a tough loss to the Lions in which the media says Stafford is better than ever, that's a huge statement considering he's without Megatron, his go to receiver, so for the media to think he's MVP caliber is giving me the impression he's stepping up his game to compensate, but enough about the Lions, this is about Cincy and Wash. Cincy is coming off a win against the Browns, which is still a loss. Wash gets the rebound and the win 28-20.
KC @ Indy, Chiefs are currently 3rd in their division, 4-2, AFC West is legit tough this year, meanwhile Indy is 3-4 with concerns about Luck's health, Colts last win was at Tenn, which considering Tenn never wins at home, is not saying much. KC wins 31-21.
Oakland @ TB, TB is going to have their hands full here, both coming off wins however but to weak opponents, Oakland is 5-2 currently which I find amazing, they're 4 wins away from getting their first winning season in years, keep it going. Oakland wins 24-10.
Seattle @ NO, man NO just released my man Callahan, so Joe is a free agent now, meanwhile Seattle is absolutely pissed that they tied with the Cards, NO better watch out because I think they're going to regret releasing Joe cuz I have a feeling that Brees is going to get hurt. Bold prediction, Seattle gets blowout win 38-6, with Seattle's D destroying Brees.
Detroit @ Houston, where were you when Brock was kill? No Like I said, Detroit is becoming a team to watch, Stafford has been super good without Megatron. Meanwhile, Texans wish they got Bradford instead. I can only imagine how shitty the Vikings would've been, had they picked up Brock. tsk tsk. Detroit wins 21-3.
NYJ @ Browns, so much for Geno Smith, this bottom barrel matchup though is still one sided, although this is the Browns best chance of winning, they're now down to Kevin Hogan, with Pryor as backup, this is seriously the most hilarious season I have ever seen from a single team, 6 qb's have now taken a snap including Pryor, this is their 4th starter, I want them to break the record so bad, because 5 teams share the record, 3 in the strike hit 1987 season. Fitz is back in, and he might give both teams a chance to win, idk how that works, but it does. NYJ gets the win in the end and the carousel in a bold prediction continues for the Browns, NYJ wins 20-10.
NE @ Buff, Buff shut out NE last time at NE, but that was without Brady, sorry Buff, but Brady about to make you his bitch, again. NE wins big 42-28.
Zona @ Carolina, Carolina is reeling, Cam is starting to be exposed for being a dumb athlete (that's no surprise), while Zona like Seattle is pissed that they tied, their team is a roller coaster lemme tell ya. Zona gets mad and takes it out on Carolina, they win 35-21.
SD @ Denver, for the love of god get MG3 some god damn support, idk y they didn't get John Kuhn or any blocking fullback for that matter, or any good blockers. They need to get a Wiscy boy, but we have no seniors this year at O-line. Denver wins 23-10.
Philly @ Dallas, if Dallas starts Homo they're out of their minds, at least Jerry had the sense to threaten termination if his team disrespects the American Flag, good for you Jerry, but don't start Romo. I give Dallas the win here if Prescott starts, the loss if Romo starts, win 24-17, lose 17-14.
Monday Night
Vikings @ Chicago, kill them Vikings, kill them Vikings, KILL THEM VIKINGS! The enemy of my enemy is my friend Bears. Cutler is starting, DON'T SCREW IT UP! Vikings win 35-17, and Cutler throws 4 picks.

Packers @ Atlanta, well at least our 2nd half against the Bears finally looked like the Packers of old. If Kniles and Don are ready then I hope they are to run the ball. I agree with Fig that having no DB's is a HUGE glaring hole, that's not good. We could barely hold Chicago down with their backups in Hoyer and Barkley, I don't think this will be the same with Matt fucking Ryan.

Also, this is the battle of the biggest chokes last season, so who's going to choke first? The Packers because injuries and incompetent coaching. Boom I'm a regular Dick Tracy. Every team knows that our boys can't get separation, even Jordy.

And even though he had a career game last week, DON'T THROW TO DEVANTE ADAMS!

Falcons win 35-21.

PICKS TIME
Tennessee>Jax. Titans look improved and the Jags do not. Looks like a lot of points 35-34
Skins>Cincinnati. Bengals look like they're regressing. Washington is really up and down this season but they'll win here. 24-14
Patriots>Bills. They got shut out with a 3rd string quarterback. Now Brady's back, time for their revenge. 38-14
Jets>Cleveland. Browns aren't winning a game. I suspect they'll go to QB #9 at some point here. Fitz throws enough picks to keep it a little close 20-10
Detroit>Houston. Detroit is winning games and flying under the radar. Texans are in a garbage division. Detroit has beaten some competent teams and Stafford has 15 TDs to 4 INTs. Don't sleep on the Lions 31-24
KC>Indy. Do not watch this. It will be a contest between KC sucking and the Colts continuing to squander Luck's talent. There will be like 8 combined turnovers 28-24
Seattle>Saints. Seattle isn't as good as their record but the Saints are bad. Seattle's offense is terrible enough to keep this close but their defense is amazing enough to limit Drew Brees. Seahawks beat another bad team and ESPN thinks they'll win the Superbowl. 21-10
Oakland>Tampa. Really interesting matchup here. Both have similar stories, climbing out from football oblivion. But you can't go from a Browns level team to a playoff contender without being an average team in between, Raiders started this process earlier than the Bucs and are a few years ahead. Neither team plays particularly competent defense so I like an offensive fireworks show 35-31
Arizona>Carolina. David Johnson leads yards from scrimmage. Panthers have no defense. Simple Math. Cardinals start slow but blow it open 34-21
Denver>Chargers. Chargers seem better than their record but I don't think they pull it off at Denver 28-24
Atlanta>Packers sorry salty Green Bay just doesn't look like the same team they were a few years ago. Injured DBs vs Julio Jones? No thank you. They got an amazing Run D but Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman are excellent in the pass game. Hopefully a shootout as I'm starting 3 Falcons players in fantasy. 34-31
Cowgirls>Pidgeys. Someone has to win this one right? Both can't just lose? sigh... 27-17
Minnesota>Chicago. Vikings you assholes. How did you lose to Philly? anyways y'all will come back and wreck the bears. 28-14

As much as I want the Indians to win, don't talk shit until you've won 4.
