ITT: Your favorite sports jerseys from any team, any era.

Buffalo Sabres jerseys in the 90's (Black white and red)
Toronto Raptors jerseys in the 90's (Purple and Reddish with the old Raptors logo)
Old school Philadelphia Eagles jerseys (Green with the white wing helmets)
Arizona Diamondbacks jerseys (the purple and green was SICK)

BUT, all time favorite...and in the picture....St. Louis Rams jerseys from the 90's. Home team, and the blue and yellow is just dirty.

Blackhawks have the best Jerseys of any sports organization hands down. Behind them Probably come the Red Wings and then the Flyers black and orange circa 2007-2008.

Easily blackhawks jersey is the best.
Raptors "vince carter" era jerseys were sick.
Arsenal jerseys in 2006 were special.
Eagles blue and yellow jersey are the worst.
Chicago Cubs home jerseys are special as well.

Basketball...

I've given it so many shots, but I just can't like it.
It's weird too, my grandpa and I would watch Bulls games all the time when I was little, back in the Dennis Rodman, Scotty Pippin era, so I really should be a Bulls fan since St. Louis doesn't have a basketball team...but I just can't stay interested in basketball for more than a week lol

Don't know where to ask this so here it goes (not exactly sports i know)... I want to get "fit/lean/in shape" however you want to call it, just essentially have a nice toned body not like a bulky gym body. I'm already pretty skinny so the question is would doing pushups daily tone me up? I was thinking something like for example starting with 10 pushups of each kind (normal, hands wide apart, hands near each other, hindu pushups, etc) and then each day increase 1 to each type. So would it tone me up?

I don't know if it matters but im 18, around 1.80m tall and weigh around 60kg...that's about 5'11 for you americans I think and the weigh I have no idea in pounds...

I hate the Vikings, it seems like every time we play them they play dirty, the Packers could go 14-2 and where do the 2 losses come from? When Favre was our QB for 16 seasons, he went 6-10 at the Metrodome! 6-10! THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS!
I also don't like any SEC team except the Gators and Georgia Bulldogs, every SEC team seems like it gets IMMEDIATE attention when they go 4-0, I swear if another different SEC team gets hot next season, I'm gonna spit nickels because I want an investigation, I want answers as to how the SEC keeps getting these great players to the point where no conference can fucking compete against them!

How can u hate us we make awful business disicison and when Brett farve came here its not like you guys didn't knock Culpepper, Jackson around but we have had a great pass rusher as for as long as farve been around but in the end it was a rivalry game we weren't the only team to knock around farve

I hate the Vikings because they think they're the end all and be all of football teams when they have yet to win a SB, remember the Randy Moss mooning Green Bay? Or how about all the scuffles we had as compared to the Bears and Lions? I've also met more nasty Viking fans than any other type of fan (what I mean is, I'll meet and heckle with fans, but Viking fans get too personal).

yeah, most teams have that. other here it's usually mullets, but i don't mind that so much.

So the Chiefs got Donnie Avery, that CB from the falcons, and Alex Smith. I'm gonna be honest, I wasn't too excited about Reid, but damn is he making some good moves, just wish he could have gone for Welker, or Kruger.
#8332 to #8268 - shadysoldier (03/17/2013) [-]
that CB from the Falcons has a name and its Dunta Robinson. and the Chiefs are lucky they got him, he's pretty damn good. idk why we gave him up.
#8281 to #8268 - N. Korean citizen (03/15/2013) [-]
I don't understand the Donnie Avery signing, especially at $8 million over 3 years.
Avery's biggest asset to a team is his straight-line speed, which he uses to spread the field. Alex Smith very rarely challenges opposing defenses down the field. It's not a logical match.
User avatar #8284 to #8281 - philliyoMLB (03/15/2013) [-]
Sure, his straight line speed is good, but I'm expecting more quick passes like WR screens, I'm expecting this to be a very physical team.
User avatar #8239 - stizz **User deleted account** (03/14/2013) [-]
I'm sad to see Steven Jackson go, he's been on the home team pretty much since I was little...but I'm happy for him, especially being with Atlanta.

He'll finally get a taste of the playoffs, but you frequent visitors may know my two teams are Saints and Rams, so I'm not looking forward to having my Saints play him twice a season...especially with the pitiful defense the demonstrated...

But I think Steven Jackson on the Falcons will be outstanding.

Hawk just restructured, Jennings is gone, and Brad Jones is staying overnight in Tennessee.

The cap space is ridiculous and there's no reason to think Raji/CMIII/Rodgers can't have back-loaded contracts to bring a decent FA in. I'd like to take a look at Dumervil/Seymour, but that's literally about it. Bradshaw still hasn't cleared and the rest need tenders.

Cobb/Nelson/Jones/Finley are due next off-season as well.

The only reason Benson didn't work out was because his injury, he actually started playing pretty well before it.
User avatar #8270 to #8267 - frenchfryy ONLINE (03/15/2013) [-]
I know that's what sucks! FA at this point is a hinderance to the packers, except for Picket. FA at this point is for teams who are desperate for talent. Back way when in 2005-06 I definitely think we should've signed some FA's (going by Madden 06 names, like Daryl Gardner, Jason Gildon, Peter Boulware, Ty Law, Lance Shoulters, those guys would've instant repaired our D going by the rosters in that game!)
User avatar #8241 to #8239 - ohgodbarrett (03/14/2013) [-]
Would have loved to see him in green and gold.

Too bad Ted Thompson doesn't play the FA game. 3 years/12mil with 4 guaranteed is an absolute steal for a player of his caliber.
User avatar #8263 to #8241 - frenchfryy ONLINE (03/15/2013) [-]
it's not the worst thing, our FA success hasn't been the best lately, look at Saturday and Benson, Benson got hurt, and Saturday imo didn't deserve a pro bowl spot because he got benched last 2 games he sucked so much.
User avatar #8288 to #8263 - ohgodbarrett (03/16/2013) [-]

3 years 27mil.

That was apparently one of the only offers. Green Bay wanted him back at barely at 5 mil/year.
User avatar #8292 to #8291 - frenchfryy ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
god I'd take that in a heartbeat
User avatar #8293 to #8292 - ohgodbarrett (03/16/2013) [-]
This team played its best football without Greg on the field. He's a systems player and McCarthy was 10 steps ahead. He's a comeback/drag route receiver now if he stays. Is that really worth that much money?

Even when healthy near the end of the season, he was sat. The staff saw more than we could. The Packers, cap wise, would have no ability to sign a real player after Jennings. No pass rush put together. No defensive line push. No safety help.

I'll go to say as much that if Green Bay takes Kenjon Barner he'll be a distant memory.
