ok, reposting opinion from the Cutler rant, the 4th video
Coming from a Packer Backer, Kaplan is right, Cutler is the biggest problem because he doesn't care and doesn't listen to any coach he has, he's uncoachable. Last season, the Bears under Marc Trestman (although injuring our Aaron Rodgers in the process ) BEAT THE PACKERS AT LAMBEAU! NOT WITH CUTLER! WITH JOSH MCCOWN! Trestman had faith in any other QB but Cutler, and I think the only reason he kept Cutler this season is because the owners wanted him, and because of that contract. I don't think Trestman wanted Cutler, he wanted McCown because McCown listened to him, and didn't force throws. McCown was 13-1 in TD-INT's last season, and beat Green Bay at Green Bay. It's obvious much like what happened at Minnesota with Favre, that this isn't necessarily the coaches's fault, the QB is causing massive issues, and the ownership is too stupid to realize it, Brad Childress and Trestman both knew it, but couldn't fix it cuz, Favre and Cutler! Childress and the Vikings were 10-6 prior to Favre, 2nd season under Favre, 3-13. Both situations coaches are blamed when in fact, their QB's got them in those situations, any other QB, they would've been fine.

Congratulations to NDSU and UW-Whitewater

UW-Whitewater in their 9th meeting against Mount Union in the last 10 years won their 6th Div 3 National Championship.

NDSU is heading to their 4th consecutive Div 1 FCS National Championship.

Packers vs. Buccs, oh lord the trap game is strong with this one, Josh McCown assuming he's starting could be a big difference maker thanks to his experience with the Bears last season, he played VERY well against us compared to Cutler (which is why instead of 12-1, we're 11-2 against the Bears since Cutler became a Bear), and Mike Glennon never faced the Packers before, and the Packers are TERRIBLE against rookie/first time facing QB's. Either one can have a good game against the Packers, we need this win big but the Bucs I have a feeling are going to up end us.

Worse, considering Clausen is now starting, granted it's a better choice than Cutler, the Bears really do have no chance of beating the Lions this weekend. Packers need to win in order to make next week relevant.

I'm fucking nervous as shit, i can no longer R-E-L-A-X

I feel like if the bears only use forte they can win
User avatar #38032 to #38031 - hawaiianhappysauce (18 hours ago) [-]
This is just sad. This is in no way a trap game. The Bills WAS a trap game because unlike TB, the Bills can still make the playoffs, the bills have one of the BEST defenses in the league (I would know, I have them in fantasy football), the bills have Kyle Orton, who just seems to get lucky against GB, even the 15-1 GB team was defeated by Orton.

Tampa has a poor defense, a poor offense, a poor record in a poor division, probably a first round pick. This game will be won easily. I give GB a 99.5% chance of winning, if they fail then they do not deserve the superbowl and they look like the Saints with their dome-field advantage.
User avatar #38034 to #38032 - saltyfries (18 hours ago) [-]
we also have to consider Lovie Smith though, granted the bucs are sucking, HE TOO HAS EXPERIENCE AGAINST THE PACK! He got some wins too as the Bears coach against the Packers. He knows what to do

It's Tampa Bay dude, Tampa Bay.
User avatar #38037 to #38036 - saltyfries (15 hours ago) [-]

User avatar #38039 to #38037 - hawaiianhappysauce (12 hours ago) [-]
I think Pats have a bigger chance of losing to the Jets than GB losing to TB. Jets is division rivalry, Tampa isn't.

The Oakland A's are just breaking my heart this off season. First Donaldson, then Moss, Shark goes away, Lowrie leaves, I knew Lester would leave, Gregerson leaves and now Norris. I guess Beane for some reason wants to rebuild

I can't completely blame Cutler for his bad performance
Coaching and coordinating needs to be fixed first
#38011 to #38010 - repostsrepost (12/18/2014) [-]
you've got Matt Forte and decent skill around him. If the coaches are telling Cutler to make bad throws, its on them. If they're telling Cutler to hand the ball off or make quick easy throws, then Cutler is trying too hard and sucking

Anybody ride alpine snowboards here? I'm trying to start, but I've never gone snowboarding before.

I'm experience in skiing, and I have no trouble going down a diamond slope.

I'm planning on learning on my own, since I've been told that I have good skiing posture despite never having learned it from someone else.

Opinions please?
User avatar #38014 to #38007 - fillelindome (12/19/2014) [-]
Care to explain alpine snowboarding is it like "regular snowboarding"
I have been skiing my entire life basically and a couple of years ago i tried snowboarding and in a week i became fairly good at it.
learning snowboarding on your own is really hard, since it is nothing like skiing, your ride completely differently.
If you have the chance you should do like a 3day course to learn how to turn properly and get down the slope with a fair ease. You will fall and it will hurt . Have not met a single person who had picked up Snowboarding by themself
#38025 to #38014 - Valid (12/19/2014) [-]
Haha alpine snowboarding is for quick descents. Thus, your feet are pointed more towards the front than to the sides

I've asked on multiple forums and communities, and the most popular opinion is that skiiers will have an easier time learning how to ride an alpine snowboard easier than a regular one, and that it should be fairly easy if you're good at skiing.

I'm going to give a shot at it alone, and then decided whether I need an instructor or not by uploading a video on a facebook group.

Thanks for the input

espn.go.com/nfl/standings

Only 2 NFC teams have 10+ losses right now

while 4 AFC teams have 10+ losses right now

Top 6 in draft so far imo
1. Oakland
2. Tampa Bay
3. Jacksonville
4. Tennessee
5. NYJ
6. Washington

based on strength of wins, records, and wins over certain opponents.

so who do these teams get?

Because half of these teams need QB's, TB, Wash, and NYJ.
#38009 to #38002 - repostsrepost (12/18/2014) [-]
Oakland gets OL
TB gets Mariota
Jax goes OL
Tennessee gets Winston
It's the Jets it doesn't matter I think they might go defense.
Washington goes need at qb but might wait a bit. Maybe go defense. Leonard Williams goes somewhere up here
User avatar #38003 to #38002 - damandan (12/18/2014) [-]
Oak and Jag are getting OL
TB gets Meriota
Tenn needs a qb but I dont think Winston is a 1st rounder so they go WR in Cooper
I think its too early for the Jets to get a Qb after Geno so I guess they go defensively as with Wash since Mariota is off and Winston is to early
