Wow that is really good attention to detail.

The people that says "Oh I never noticed" it's because they are full-retarded
User avatar #130 to #127 - tonydalion (07/05/2012) [-]
I've never noticed. I was more focused on the MOTHER FUCKING V8 POWERED TIME MACHINE plowing through time and space and shit.

The DeLorean DMC-12 has a V6
#139 to #132 - flippytrixfordiner ONLINE (07/05/2012) [-]
but it could have had a V8 if you catch my drift
User avatar #134 to #132 - tonydalion (07/05/2012) [-]
Don't take this moment away from me... If it's got a V6, it needs an upgrade. An Oldsmobile big block with electronic fuel injection and a high flow, cool air intake system. That would make it better...
User avatar #136 to #134 - dedaluminus (07/05/2012) [-]
Yeah, I'd like to see you try to jam a 442 in the back there. There wasn't even enough room for the V6, you have to take the engine out or the rear axle out to do an oil change, shit's so jammed together.
User avatar #142 to #136 - tonydalion (07/05/2012) [-]
Hmm... In that case, switch that V6 out with a 2.8 liter H1V8 engine. http://www.h1v8.com/page/page/1562068.htm
400 horsepower out of the crate and it's smaller than your run of the mill 4 cylinder. Add in mirrored twin turbos with high boost (using a high octane fuel of course), and you got yourself a 1000 horsepower pint sized behemoth.
User avatar #144 to #142 - dedaluminus (07/05/2012) [-]
The only swap that really works well with it is to swap the flat 6 out of a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. It mates up pretty easily with the manual transmission, and can be tuned just from stock without any additional parts to 450 horsepower.
User avatar #147 to #144 - tonydalion (07/05/2012) [-]
That might be the more economic solution, but the way I see it. Horsepower takes money. So if you want to put in the 33k for the engine, a good grand for the custom turbos, and a few thousand more for a tranny that can handle the horsepower, as well as a custom made adapter plate, then that's the way I'd go. 'Course I'd rather drop something like that in a smaller, lighter car. Better acceleration and top speed that way.

It's those little details that really make a movie.

i really love watching a movie like BTTF over and over, and discovering something new each time i watch it.

Like in Napoleon Dynamite, when Napoleon calls home for Chapstick, his brother has a bowl of like, shredded cheese on a plate. Then it would cut back and forth between Napoleon and his brother (i forget his name at this point). But anyways, everytime it would cut back to the brother, there would gradually be more and more shredded cheese on the plate.

And then suddenly, its gone. I fucking love movies

on 'Workaholics' in the first 30 seconds of one episode, the guy slowly takes off his earphones, turns around and still has them on. xD

In Terminator 2 When Arnold was walking up to the bar owner real early in the movie, you see him taking his hand off the shotgun then the next scene his hand is back on it and taking his hand off again lol.

Telltale made a series of five Back to the Future point-and-click adventure games. They're really good.

There were also a few shitty NES games back in the day, but those don't count.
