(happened to me on my way to new vegas I just got past the deathclaws, died, and stopped playing for like a week.)

me and ian were out exploring the wasteland and we came upon a city. Ian was standing infront of me when i noticed a shitload of ghouls, eventually after trying to fight them off ian got surrounded. I shot at them but to no avail i dident kill them. eventually i decided to run and i made it to the back of the city almost able to excape. i looked back one more time to ian to see the poor basterd get killed by the group of ghouls. Since then i have never been able to return to shady sands
