its a sad day when the educated and informed people are socially viewed as beneath the cast of jersey shore. it makes me vomit everytime there is a new"housewives of ____" tv show. why are there so many channels that stream & promote socially detrimental programming. i dont care for another swamp people television show. i dont want to see people on tv that cant even speak let alone spell their native language. enough hillbillies, let me watch the show about the rocket scientist or the brain surgeon, fuck i would love a show that follows the progress of a team building a robot. how about a show that follows college students succeeding? is that too much to ask?

America...well everyone thinks America is running under Capitalism, but I personally think it's just a really slow version of Communism/Socialism gone wrong.
It's becoming more noticeable, little changes here and there to suggest it will become a dystopian nation before long.

western media likes to demonize china but thing is a good majority of chinese people support the government's decisions, and surveilance of media for example is just simply more forthright than in the U.S.

Agreed, just things like the "Great Firewall of China" and how blatant the government is with denying freedom of speech give it that image for me, but it seems like the US is slowly becoming that way too
