Well, if you sell your fosters, you'll have 5 ref, and dirty last breath goes for about 2-2.5 keys.
You can get one easily on outpost.
If you haven't used tf2 outpost yet, it's a really helpful site, helps you trade your items much simpler than going from server to server.

Pretty nice. I just made a new steam account and I'm not a premium member yet, so I can't really get good drops. That, and I haven't even been playing tf2 long enough to have genuine items. :(

I introduced my friend to PC gaming with TF2 shortly after I got steam, next thing I knew he had all sorts of premium weapons because hes a spoiled brat and his dad bought him everything in the big update bundle pack and all the other bundles

The drop system is the same for premium and free players, and you get genuine items from buying/ pre ordering other games. Vintage items however, are items that excisted before the engineer/ Mann Co store update. The things that are limited to free accounts are backpack space, and there are only certain items you can trade.

I know one thing about the drop system: It's not totally the same for f2p and premium members. With f2p players, you will only get common items. Premium, anything else(ie. commons, rares, stranges(idk)).

Supposedly free accounts get less drops in an attempt to encourage them to buy things from the store, but having been FTP and Premium, I've seen no noticeable difference. Damn item drop system is stingy either way.

Like I said in my other reply, f2pers can only get common drops.

Nonsense, I've seen way too many F2P'ers who either found a High five, laugh taunt or even crate 40.

I'm not saying that, I know F2P TF2 players can't get random drops of Hats, Misc., or other items, it's that people say that drops for regular items become more common as a premium player, as incentive to purchase something, which sees to be BS.

all they've done is made the graphics look better but theirs like no new quests for free members, I wouldn't know anything about the premium I deffinetly wouldnt pay for that

The premium is for people who are already a high level. Buying membership at a low level is just a waste of money. I've never bought membership and I got to mid 40's back when I played it.

I think im like level 79 or something but I know it took me a month to get to that from level 76 so yeah, there's no point in going back :/ it's a bad rpg now

It's not bad. You've just grown out of it. It's a great RPG, It's just not in my tastes anymore. I don't really like the whole grinding for useless exp in a game like that. I'm more of an FPS and MOBA fan now.

I had a shitty isp and never had a problem with the actual RS servers. If there was ever any lag, it was because of my computer.

no i had like pristine connection and I was still jumping around everywhere, I live in canada and was on a canadian server, for some stupid reason the swedish servers were better

Eh, I feel ya. I just don't like people saying a game is bad when they've just grown out of it. As of right now, on League of Legends, the US servers and possibly the Nordic and EU servers have been having some really horrible latency problems and some users have completely lost their in-game items. I don't blame the game. It's a common thing that can happen to a big game when an update has a horrible bug in it.

idk i kinda grew out of the entire genre, the only rpg's ill play now are oblivion and the elder scrolls
