I honestly don't like the whole Makorra thing. I don't like Mako and I'm not that big of a fan of Korra's choices she's made about her whole relationship-thing. I don't know. Bolin would be the clear choice in my opinion. I think it would be nice if Bolin and Asami got together, I like both of them.

Despite heavily implying that Mai and Zuko would be together forever at the end of TLA, especially after having the heavy breakup and getting back together, those comics still shows that Mai and Zuko breakup. Nobody's sure on if they got back together, but regardless, Zuko had to have gotten busy with somebody so that General Iroh from LOK is possible. SOOOO It's possible that shit goes down and Bolin finally get's what he deserves

That's not what I meant. Mai and zuko broke up in the middle of the last season. Got back together in the end. AAAAANNND after the end of TLA, they broke up again. It's in those comics that wrap up events after TLA. We're not sure if they got back together or not.

bene (06/24/2012) [-] Mako is named after the original voice actor for Iroh from TLA, as the actor died before the series had ended. Iroh was a firebender, so his character was a firebender, and a young, important character at that. They made him a badass (a tall, tough, lightning-bending fire bender master) as respect and w/e, and gave him the ultimate prize any side character could get: the Avatar as a sex toy. BUT, they really did fuck up with playing it all out. Just about everybody was rooting for Borra, and on top of that, they tossed Asami (and especially) Bolin aside and made the no longer important and comic relief character (respecively). This really made Mako a dick, despite him being a good guy.
It's like after the whole Bolin feels thing when Mako and Korra first kissed, Mako somehow absorbed all of Bolin's screentime and importance as a character so that he was on par with Korra, and then Asami and Bolin are tossed aside, and for some retarded reason any and all relationship developments center COMPLETELY around those two.
Honestly, the whole relationship between Korra and Bolin thing pretty early in the series amounted to absolutely NOTHING. Bolin got so little lines, and was basically the new Sokka, minus any importance to the plot. They literally just tossed him aside.
Bolin BEST be the center of season 2.
