You shouldn't play Battlefield.
Battlefield is for intelligent strategists, not silly little boys.
Please resort to playing Call of Duty; I'm sure you'll find the one-shot-kill sniper rifles and two shot kill SMGs to your liking.

(Modern) Battlefield is for idiots and console gamers who THINK they're intelligent strategists.

This is a real mans milsim. Battlefield is a game, and you do not need any tactical knowledge to prevail in it.

No tactical knowledge to prevail in it? I'm sorry, but when you're attacking in Rush, and the enemy has the entire area on lockdown, it requires some real teamwork to get in to the area, or you'll just throw your tickets away.
It's not for the mentally inept, at least give it that.

Play Battlefield 2: project reality or Arma II before you think BF3 is some game that requires strategy. You can easily carry teams in every game mode and it requires no teamwork to complete an objective.

I don't know, in Arma, if the enemy has a single emplaced weapon and your team is not perfectly coordinated, you're gonna lose a fireteam or two the second it sees you.

In BF its different.

If you can do well in pubs, with random players, and say the game requires tactical knowledge...

I didn't mention pugs or random players.
I play in a 4-man squad. We all have our own jobs. Random players are usually stupid idiots who run around with SMGs and shotguns because they get easy kills, but they don't win the match.
To answer your question, I have only played Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield 3, so if you don't judge them as tactical shooters, then no.

Seeing as you mentioned Xbox 360, I assume you're a console only gamer.
Modern consoles can't even run games like Arma, so that leaves it out of the question...

Half and half. I play some games on Xbox, and some on PC.
4 men on Battlefield is called a squad, sorry if you find that inaccurate or offensive. It's just a game.

I know, I do it every so often. It doesn't work to well with jets though, especially when you get hit and they go off.

And here we have the average BF3 player, who goes by the name of mikaelKID and has terrible spelling.
