With a Father much like Jacone, i can attest to the fact that that act in and of itself was very very freeing. Sure it may have been silly to some; but it was an act that is noble in its own right.

It probably got past the censors cause it'll turn out one of them lived. Otherwise I see no point in continuing the story. Whos the bad guy now? They gonnah introduce someone new and put all the character development to waste? Nah, I doubt it. Noafuck or Amen or whatever his name is lived. I'd bet on it.

Did we ever see what happened to Sato after he was tied up? Since Makorra is officially being shoved down our throats, Asami may get her heart broken and free her dad.

I see Asami and Iroh, or maybe even Bolin if the writers want to be edgy. But Having her turn all scorned lover evil WOULD be pretty good.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but Borra is what I ship and I was left with a sour taste in my mouth after the finale. But seriously, how damn selfish can Mako be?
Anyway, I guess Asami and Iroh would be okay, but I still kinda think Asami won't take the breakup too well.

I knew pretty much from the start Korra X Bolin wouldn't happen. That date they went on was too good and they would be too perfect of a couple. Healthy happy relationships dont make for good TV. Mako.....mako needs to die. And thats why I'll keep watching, just waiting for that one magical moment where the light in that douche bags eyes goes out forever.

That would actually be great! Not only because I hate the guy, but because they would both be so distraught and could find solace in each other.

It was just sad. Amon, AKA Noatak, believed he was going to spend the remainder of his days with his brother, and then Tarrlok blew up the boat.

Im pretty sure Tarrlok's reasoning was that he didnt want the cycle to repeat like what happened with Yakone as in fleeing and starting a new life elsewhere, having a family, corrupting their kids, having them fight with them to kill the avatar.

To be fair, he was technically right.

But Amon knew that Tarrlok was about to blow them up, because he shed a single manly tear. It literally looked exactly like this.

I think slowpoke's right, his psychic bloodbending is what helped him find Korra under the table, he can tell what people close by are doing.

I feel as if they really rushed the ending

The only explanation would be the fact LoK was only going to be a mini series, so all of the ends needed to be tied up at this finale. The creators weren't sure if they were going to have a second season, so they had to figure a way to fit everything into their time slot. That being said- it really isn't an excuse. If they knew they may only have a certain amount of time to get the show done, they could have done it smoother. The finale was choppy and still left me with too many questions and a lack of resolution. Too many HUGE things happened in the last 10 minutes and I think it took away from the epicness that was to be. Learning airbending, achieving the Avatar State, Amon dying, and Makorra kiss... all big things that needed better separation. It was impactful, but just not as much as it should have been.
tl;dr I was also slightly disappointed.

That part was so fucking sad. Even though he was a cold blooded killer, I shed a tear.
