I really don't see what's unlucky about that.

Except they never used grenades.
They used two duffel bags full of pipe bombs, which were duds.
They planned on blowing them up in the cafeteria at lunch killing 500+ students, plus supervising faculty. And then they planned on shooting students and staff as they ran from the building.
The bombs were duds, and they went on a shooting spree killing 12 students and 1 teacher.
A father later filed a lawsuit against the city because they erected 12 crosses in the park near the school in memory, 12 students, 1 teacher and 2 gunmen. The father then took down the crosses that were for the gunmen which became a large battle in court.

Yeah, I don't know why I said grenades, oh well.

Thumbed your shit back up. Anyways, I would have just pissed on the two gunmen crosses :/
User avatar #203 to #201 - Crusader (06/18/2012) [-]
It was more the fact that the city erected 2 crosses for the gunmen WITH the crosses of the victims.
User avatar #205 to #203 - WarPigs (06/18/2012) [-]
Why the hell would they do that?
User avatar #209 to #205 - Crusader (06/18/2012) [-]
Because the group that heard about the shooting only heard 15 dead after school shooting, not 2 gunmen dead after killing 13 others
User avatar #210 to #209 - WarPigs (06/18/2012) [-]
Makes sense.

Also in the library they killed 8 or 6 people
User avatar #158 to #154 - Crusader (06/17/2012) [-]
Yes, those would be counted in the 12 students they killed

Imagine what it would be like if the pipe bombs actually detinated...
User avatar #162 to #161 - Crusader (06/17/2012) [-]
500+ people killed
#164 to #162 - cinnamontoastmunch (06/17/2012) [-]
That would be the worst massacre in America. but that didn't happen and the Bath School was the worst
User avatar #169 to #164 - Crusader (06/17/2012) [-]
actually, if it went according to plan then about 700 people dead in the cafeteria, then there would be the other 300-450 kids running out of the school, have each shooter cover a different entrance and the students split up evenly that is 50-75 people per entrance, so 100-150 if they killed everyone coming out of the doorway.
Adding in the people killed in the panic by falling and being trampled, hit by falling debris, etc. That would be like 850, almost 900 people dead by 2 gunmen.

Well... I dont think that's too bad. A class of special needs kids dead is much better then dead normal kids who can actually be useful to society in the future.

i don't know too much about columbine... did this really happen?
User avatar #112 to #79 - Crusader (06/17/2012) [-]
No, two teens planned on blowing up 2 duffel bags full of pipe bombs in the cafeteria killing 500+ students, and then planned on shooting students and faculty as they ran from the building with shotguns and an SMG.
The bombs were duds so they shot and killed 12 students and a teacher.

the propane bombs were duds, the pipe bombs actually worked

Unpopular opinion times:
I believe any kid with a super bad mental disability, such as downs or retardation, should all be carted into a giant aircraft carrier.
Then, they are dropped in the desert in seperate locations. with a knife and bottle of water.
The last one to live, gets taken home and put in giant baby stroller. so he can enjoy his useless life.
In all seriousness, Bombing a special needs class, takes away the ones that CAN improve on life. The ones with Assburgers or something.
But get the downies and retards away. They do nothing but take money, smell and become a burden to the parents and everybody around them.
pic related. It's coming.
User avatar #304 to #74 - heartlessrobot (06/18/2012) [-]
I say we hope them up on steroids, meth, and bath salts, give them weapons, and throw them into a gladiator arena where they can fight to the death.

i once had a debate on whether or not legal euthanasia should be legalized. i was put as for it and the opponent was against. i won and that made me think, why not? it saves the money required to keep them alive and puts the family at ease because they no longer have to worry about it.
on the other hand, what if they family really wants to keep a disabled child? it's their money, why should we worry, they're gonna spend it however they want anyways.
my solution: let them have the child, and after a preset amount of time, if the child has no hope of recovery or the family has given up hope, euthanize it.
it's sad, i'm for life, but there is no point in letting a family suffer for their stubbornness
#88 to #74 - N. Korean citizen (06/17/2012) [-]
Special needs kids are useless and should die.
But parents rarely wanna abort a child if it's special. And then it becomes illegal to kill if you find out AFTER the baby's birth that it's retarded.
User avatar #91 to #88 - Jameshaich (06/17/2012) [-]

#80 to #78 - Jameshaich (06/17/2012) [-]
Exactly.
People will think i'm trolling, but I'm not.
They really have no purpose, and I assume the parents would have prefered a normal child who can look after themselves in their 20's+
Downies/retards require life-long care, only to die whilst still reciveing that care. I can assume they don't enjoy being baby-coddled their whole life. but they lack the mental capacity to know a better life.
User avatar #84 to #80 - theist ONLINE (06/17/2012) [-]
True. The only reason the parents take care of their down syndrome kids is because the alternative would make them look like heartless monsters. They do it out of guilt. FJ, you know we're right...
#89 to #84 - Jameshaich (06/17/2012) [-]
Let them come at us, we are right.
They are forced to look after their child, otherwise they are deemed monsters.
At least you are honest, my friend. let us drown in red thumbs.

People with mental disabilities are still capable of love. And I'm sure that parents of those mentioned would have just as hard of a time as any with dealing with their death.

That being said, as heartless as it is, if I knew that my child was going to be born retarded, I wouldn't want him. So I agree with you guys.

To everyone who says there's no loss to killing mentally disabled kids:

The greatest minds in history had some sort of disability. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have what we have today. Einstein was said to have Aspergers. Da Vinci is said to be dyslexic. I could go on, but if you're talking about those where they're heavily disabled: Consider some Autistic people who are able to do the most complex math in their head or draw things that they've only seen once.

So fuck you all.

Sorry. Just hearing this kind of shit makes me blood boil a bit.
#178 to #44 - N. Korean citizen (06/18/2012) [-]
I fucking love you so much for saying that. Reading these comments of people saying that mentally handicapped people should be killed is fucking disgusting. Its unbelievable how people can become so selfish in life. I wonder how bad of a childhood some one would have to go through to think it would be ok to kill another human being because they born with a condition they never had any control over. I HOPE that their children are born mentally disabled so they can see how much you can love a person regardless of what is wrong with them. Having a sibling who is mentally disabled i can say that i would provide for them as long as i would have to. It was not their fault they were born a different way and they should never be punished for it.
#302 to #178 - N. Korean citizen (06/18/2012) [-]
Wow, way to go from making a good point to being a complete asshole in your comment. On the other note, love is a non-conditional agreement in family, but that does not stop them from being a burden onto one another. I don't think that we should kill any special needs person, but the point people on this page is trying to make is that It would be highly inefficient to use a great portion of money to help things that are rarely, or even unable to treat, like down syndrome, and rather use it to aid the needs of more "capable" people, like those with aspergers, dyslexia, and even autism.
#217 to #178 - N. Korean citizen (06/18/2012) [-]

I have Autism myself. My mom loved me and my two older brothers (one has ADHD and the other Aspergers) so much. She took time and effort to get all three of us to where we are at today. Just seeing these people say how much of a burden disabled people are to parents is just terrible.
#228 to #189 - sigsaw (06/18/2012) [-]
most cases of ADHD are not even bad and/or are just made up.this is because some parents child was misbehaving so they think that there MUST be a problem. my brother has "ADHD" because my mom was terrible at parenting. he is extremely mellow
User avatar #244 to #228 - sebbiechan (06/18/2012) [-]
That's another pet peeve of mine. Just because a kid misbehaves doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them.

Then there are idiots who are like "OH MY GAWD I MUST HAZ ADD" when they're perfectly normal.
User avatar #129 to #44 - mrbeany (06/17/2012) [-]
"was said" So, you're actually gonna believe that einstein had aspergers, just because people say he does.
User avatar #137 to #129 - sebbiechan (06/17/2012) [-]
I notice that humans tend to give names to people who have weird behavior. In this case, Einstein showed signs of having Aspergers, like how he never talked until he was 3.

aspergers tends to benefit from special placement, but dyslexia wouldn't. The point kinda stands... and i would just like to add that the mentally retarded can function and be productive in society
