They are the antithesis of what rock started as, they are the definition of sellout. They are entirely mainstream, only play for the paycheck, play whatever the hell will get them money and all of their songs are basically pop songs with guitars. The chord progressions are the most basic things I've ever heard, they use the same damn melody in every song and ramen noodles is not a god damn hair style.

Just because you like them doesn't mean people hate them for no reason. People hate them because they're awful.

They get far more hate, than worse bands.

And I can explain that. Yeah, there's other, worse, bands out there. But Nickelback gets so much hate because they're so average and boring and pointless that their popularity doesn't make sense at all. Being aggressively average is worse than being completely terrible.

Duh, they get more hate because more people know them. People that don't know who the hell Waking the Cadaver are aren't gonna know that they're a far worse band.
