True, the new series has a lot of fanservice already... I think that Zuko's voice tied to Iroh's name is overkill as far as fanservice goes... The flashbacks (which we wanted more of since we wanted to know what happened to our favorite characters) were neat, subtle and really great and enjoyable (and quite relevant, since they were tied into the story), but the last couple of episodes were really filled with irrelevant fanservice. (In the beginning one equalist chi blocker goes 1v1 against a pro bender and wins and then Meelo beats 3 of them at once by farting in their faces. I love Meelo but it just sounds like butchering the fluff to me...)

And as I once said, you can take away her bending but you can't take away her awesome. She wasn't the only metalbender in the world, so bending wasn't what made her stand out. What made her interesting was that she was a greatly written character and (more importantly imho) a Beifong.

I mean I still love the show but i think the last few episodes had room for improvement...

But that's, just, like, my opinion, man...

because her mother is Toph, who's badass as fuck and probably had high expectations of her daughter.

I dunno though, I feel like Lin was a really underdeveloped character. If they focused on her relationship with Toph I think I would have been sadder...
