rectaltrama **User deleted account** (06/14/2012) [-] Christianity isn't about god, it's about a man who came to earth and had powerful people hating him. though so many people hated him, he still, deep down, loved everyone. nowadays it's about knowing that even though we don't have the same powers as Jesus, we can make as big of impact as him. A real christian loves everyone (even gays) because we know that there here on earth for a very special reason. Christianity really isn't about religion, it's about giving peace to everyone hoping they'll become the same, thus making a chain reaction causing peace on earth. the reason so many bad things are happening, is because very few people know this, and and even less people are trying to be true in the mind and in the soul.

Likewise, Christians shouldn't hate the people who sin, but the sin itself for the harm. While true, sin is an action and a choice, most humans know shame and the difference between right and wrong. Those who refuse to acknowledge basic moral fiber are fools and their actions are bad.
TLDR: You view someone on their actions, and those actions are what affect things.

I don't understand why they still believe that. The Bible in Leviticus may say that gays deserved to be stoned to death, but in the New Testament, there are several accounts condemning that verse Leviticus wrote. They all pretty much say how retarded he was for that. It was one reason of why the New Testament was written on Jesus's life, that God isn't cruel and is all loving. How do I know? Religious school all through Kindergarten to Highschool, constant bible studies.

You had a horrible bible study. God did not make a mistake in the old testament telling Moses to wright that down. Lets have a bible lesson here.
1. God is Father Jesus Holy Spirit - Trinity
2. God is perfect.
3. God is never changing
4. God is Holy therefore hates sin
