smokedmeatlog (06/14/2012) [-] the slug skin is like a cell membrane in which it needs reach equilibrium on either side. when the salt touches him, he becomes very dry on the outside, so the moisture on his inside secretes to the outside in order to become balanced again. this hurts him because it is a relatively fast process, and it absorbs all of his moisture, cause him to become stiff then die.
