Our o-line is underrated, you're so right about having the pieces. Flacco is almost a top ten QB, he's ranked under Stafford in top QB's in the league. Torrey is gonna be so tops this year, he was above descent last year, without an offseason. Imagine him with one. Laquan Williams hasn't had a chance to shine either, missed all of last season but during mini camp, he's supposed be doing really good, better than Tandon Doss and Streeter. But Jacoby Jones will get the number 3 spot.

It was probably more of the fact he legally can't... He already signed up for the 49ers. He'd break his contract with the 49ers if her went back; both Jacobs and the Giants could be sued for the breach and/or interference of the contract with the 49ers. The Giants wouldn't take him back for fear of being sued even if Jacobs left the 49ers.

So, unfortunately, he can't go back even if he wanted to.

It's not that. Jacobs wanted to stay in New York, but they wouldn't resign him. They wanted to use that money to resign their better players, and wouldn't have enough money afterwards to resign Jacobs.
