Today I have discovered Two Steps From Hell. This music is amazing.
Looking for some good work out music that doesn't suck when you aren't working out. Any suggestions?
If you're okay with rap, this is what I use:
Already - DMX
Grand finale - DMX
H-A-M - Kanye
Intro (where my dogs at) - DMX (try to find a version the skips the opening part, it's pretty long)
Jesus walks - kanye
Run this town - JAY-Z
Take em down - Dropkick Murphys (not rap)

I'm looking for some upbeat motivational music! Any suggestions?...

I wanted to know what is fj's opinion on this new pop music? I find all of it cancer, pure, disgusting crap. I'm talking about adel, nicki, justin beiber, ext. I find that these people make millions of dollars of crap music which requires little to no talent. Bands actually have to master an instrument and work together perfectly to create a song. Artists like these just create music about the same cancerous crap with very similar themes like love. I find that this music strongly appeals to mostly the dumbest demographic on the planet, teenage girls.
It's hard for me to take people seriously when they enjoy this type of music but im an asshole.
I myself listen to rock and some metal, i can listen to just about everything that isn't rap or new pop (80's stuff is good).

I think you just need to chill out about it.
It's just noises in your ear. You don't like it; listen to the noises that you do like instead.
I personally have nothing against pop music. It's something that's (usually) uplifting and just good to dance around to and have fun.
Although your "talent" argument (going from the 4th sentence to the 7th) is ridiculously ignorant.

Oh please, you say noises affect society in a bad way? Dude, there are other genres with songs about murder, rape, suicide, etc. and you're concerned of the effect of songs mostly about partying and stereotypical love stories?
And it is ignorant. You're implying that all pop singers can't sing (which is fucking ridiculous), you're ignoring the fact that, when playing live, most pop singers will have some sort of backing band or even if it is just a machine playing out the backing track to the song, they still have to practice and practice to get their singing in sync with the music just as much as singers in a band do.
Not liking pop music is fine, I'm not a huge fan either. Coming up with ignorant excuses as to why you don't like it is where the real stupidity lies.

I'm sure there was already a thread about this, but what are your thoughts on Wolf?
I thought it was better than Goblin, however, not as good as Bastard.

If there's anyone who lives in the Surrey/Sutton area, I'd highly recommend my Dad's band; Longtimegone.
They usually play pubs/local festivals, and just do classic rock covers. They're really good for just having a good time, I've ben helping roadie with them for the last couple months and throughly enjoyed it, so check them out if it's your kind of thing.

I'd put the good ol' U S of A before Japan in this one. Not just because I love my country, (best on the fuckin planet, yee haw) but the about tess song sounded a little 'clean' to me. You know what I mean? More like 4 or 5 guys playing really well sort of individually than a band that blends everything more, like the other 2. I really liked all of them though. All of the about tess members sounded awesome.
