Okay, Pop Punk itself isn't bad, the Descendents are fucking pioneers of pop-punk and they sound great. Pic related.

I also dislike this attitude in punk rock that's like "OMG we're badasses," or something. This goes for all music. Fuck you, you're here to play music, you're a musician, so some badass. That's why bands like Danzig piss me off (Although I do like the Misfits).

Bad Religion is amazing, every single one of their albums has been fantastic. Even if they have a severe left wing, they sound awesome.

I used to listen to a lot of early Green Day when I was younger, so I guess their earlier albums are alright. Any Album past and including American Idiot is an absolute piece of shit.

User avatar #78325 to #78324 - achimp (08/28/2013) [-]
It's not the fact that it's in German (which is awesome) it's the fact that it's both in German and English. Listen to the English version, then listen to the german one again. It just has a really cool quality to it.

But I'll check those out nonetheless.

Cancer it tried to break me, tried to take me thrice, made me fight for my life but I was a knight throughout the strife, the plight cause I ignited, incited so much might I started to rhyme to give me inspiration, divine, motivation, sublime, it gave me a realization in time that out of pain comes pleasure, and that you got to endeavor to find treasure in getting better and better, don't settle for whats easy, if I did that I would be RIP, I didn't need no genie for my wish, I just needed this.

Its a song from the 70s-80s classic
It starts with a man slowly singing "Those/her eyes....are something that i've always loved and her.."
"Her eyes....are..
"Her eyes.."
He repeats and keeps on describing about her eyes.

does anybody know?
