I'm planning on getting my first guitar soon, can anyone recommend a good/cheap guitar for playing blues/rock stuff?
I've wanted to write music for ages now, and I usually get inspiration whenever I'm unable to write it down or I'm preoccupied with something else. And by the time I'm done or I have the opportunity to write it down, I forget it.
This blows.
This blows.
Need a little help with a Gorillaz video I remember seeing a while back.
I can't remember his name but The black guy comesup out of the sea holding noodle in his hand and she plays this flute thing while planes fly by. It ain't Melancholy hill I know that

Would you guys consider Axle Rose a douche because of the way he acts at his concerts? Discuss.
I don't think Axl is a douche. The media just makes him look like a shit. If he's having a bad day and says something mean, the media will make it seem like he's an awful person. Yeah, he's got some issues. He's probably a nice guy once you get to know him.
For those of you with iTunes...

18 years old, natural brown hair, you like trippy music, but not per se reggae. You like funk and pure Rock 'n' roll! You went through a phase in your life where your music taste was all about clean guitar riffs that expressed oppressed emotions, and lyrics of which you don't understand a fucking thing.
You're kind of a pleb

!%, natural red hair, I'e never really liked trippy music, I don't enjoy reggae. That is correct. I went through a phase in life where I my taste was mostly AC/DC and Kiss, but only cause they were well known.
Idk what a pleb is, sorry.

Hey guys, let's play a game
Put your music player to shuffle and list the first 6 songs that come up
Then, we try to guess a person's personality by the songs they posted
I'll start
Amon Amarth - Thor Arise
Queens of the Stone age - Long Slow Goodbye
Ladytron - The Lovers
Disturbed - Divide
Tenishia - Always Loved, Never Forgotten (The Day will Come)
System of a Down - A.D.D

I don't know enough of those bands to make a good judgement. But it seems like you're not american, are a very intensive music listener, pretty mature, about 17/18 years old I'm guessing, or going through a phase and actually 15. You think you're pretty deep, because of your musical diversity, but it's mêh. It says nothing abut your overall personality.
hmmm, this one's difficult.
15/16 years old, dark hair. Probably not from western part of the world, more likely from something that was formerly Yugoslavian (username durrr).
You enjoy funk a lot, and music is a big part of your life. You play an instrument, most likely bass or guitar.
You put a lot of effort into your musical research and don't just blindly follow a trend.
your last name ends in -ic

Brown hair, 17 year old, quite a pleb, but don't realize it yourself. You don't really care too much for music, as long as you can listen to it in peace.
You don't really have a strong opinion on any genre, and do not play an instrument.
You're name is possibly Keith

the fact that you're a pleb comes from the fact that linkin park is in the list twice, which means you have a lot of linkin park. Which is pretty pleb. This is also strengthened by the Iron Maiden song.
You don't have any songs that feature a specific instrument very particularly, so you probably don't play an instrument.
The fact that you can't spell Lynard Skynard correctly, kinda implies you really don't give a shit.
17, because metal, so over 12, but Linkin Park, so under 20.
Brown hair is a visualisation from my mind.

in terms of modern society music listeners, plebs are the opposite of hipsters in my book.
Where hipsters listen to the most underground shit ever purely because it's not popular, do plebs listen to whatever evrybody else is listening, purely because it's popular

I had to use my Youtube favourites to do it, and it wouldn't go past my 100 most recent favourites, so it's probably not that great...

You have natural brown hair, are 17 years old, have a couple of good friends but aren't very popular in school. You enjoy listening to music, but don't play an instrument.
You like alternative, as long as it doesn't go over the top, and have a strong opinion on both metal and dubstep.

nope, all from the songs.
The fact that you listen to the white stripes and joy division means you like rock, and since Joy Division is pretty alt for some, I figured that you liked alternative but since there was no thrash or anything I figured you were pretty moderate about the level of alternativeness in your songs.
The fact that Atmosphere is included in this, means you really enjoy listening to music, since they're not really a group that you just stumble upon, you have to search a bit before you can find them, which means you put time and effort in your musical research.
The fact that you do have a couple good friends comes from the fact that you don't listen to anything super hardcore, which is sort of a sterotype I guess.. But normally, (speaking from experience) people who put that kind of effort in their musical research, aren't very generally very popular.
The variedness of music tells me you aren't focussing on bands where a certain instrument really pops out, which I assumed to be, because you don't play an instrument.
There was no metal, or dubstep in your list, so I kind of assumed you might listen to it, but you aren't really super enthusiastic about it since it doesn't pop up at the first 6 when you use shuffle, so probably have a strong opinion about them.
The 17 years were an estimate based on the age of your music. Not enough classic rock to be over 25, yet too few "newer" stuff to be younger than 15.
The brown hair was just an image created by my brain upon visualising all these traits.

18, Male American, you consider yourself a big music fan, but mainly listen to fairly mainstream stuff, you played Guitar Semi-Casually for 1-2 years, and were briefly in a garage band. You have a goatee, but are considering shaving it off. your parents are pressuring you to go to college, but you aren't sure what to do with your life.
how off was I?
how off was I?
pretty close,
15 year old, Dutch, I do consider myself a non-pleb, but deep inside realize that I'm a pleb myself. (note that this list was incredible bad luck) I play guitar casually, for 8 years, and have been in a band with friends for about 2 years. I have no facial hair, and I am certain I'm going to go to university after school

I know that, I'm not fucking retarded. But it's the only song I have by John Lennon, and it would look unorganized if I put John Lennon as artist, so I put on a beatles compilation album and out of habit typed the beatles instead of john lennon just now
I can't help it, my shuffle decided to be the biggest fucking pleb ever today ;_;
I'll try again:
johny kick a hole right in the sky - the red hot chili peppers
come on (part 1) - The Jimi hendrix experience
Always coming back home to you - atmosphere
Chest Plate - Caspa & Rusko
Back in our minds - funkadelic
Scentless apprentice - Nirvana

You're probably a guy between 17 and 19, you think that most of the people who are in your age are mentally challenged, therefore you don't have many friends. Due to hendrix (and your profile picture) you play guitar. You like classic rock.
You are pretty tall and slim, dark hair. And quite intelligent.
I am not good at this

Closer than the other guy.
15 years old, and from personal experience, I know, that some of the kids in my age group are pretty retarded, but I do have a couple good friends, and considered funny and therefore somewhat popular. Hendrix has indeed been a great inspiration, but the reason I started playing was a Dutch folk band, and has absolutely nothing to do with K-ON, since the music in that anime is mostly horrible.
I'm 1,71, which is considered quite small here, I'm slim though. I don't really consider myself very intelligent, but I guess I am somewhat.
