Been singing for long?

Very seldomly the past couple of years. I sing sometimes in the shower, but mostly when I'm listening to music (johnny cash especially).

Yeah, I don't know... In that particular clip, it seems to me that you're straying off-key, but I reckon it would help if you had an instrument or a backing track to go along with.

I probably was off key, I've just never had any formal practice, and have only tried to mimic the sounds that I've heard from memory.

I don't even know what certain "keys" are supposed to sound like, or what keys there are to follow lol.

I play the guitar and I have a minimal grasp of theory as well (not that it stops me from overcomplicating my songs...).

But still, practice makes perfect. What matters most is feel, even though some knowledge is never a bad thing to fall back on.

My problem is that I just can't seem to figure out what key that's supposed to be in (but like I said, that may very well be my problem, not yours).

I think you've got the voice, for sure, but you could use some more practice.

Breathe Carolina try to awkwardly blend screaming with pop and fail every step of the way.
