BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!!!!!!
The monster's are veteran's of over 10,000 years of constant warfare; shedding oceans of blood in Khorne's name. They are unstoppable butchers made of ceramite and warp enhanced muscle whose only goal is to butcher any who dare stand before them. The rag tag band of the black cross pirates have made the misfortune of running into them in order to rescue the radical inquisitor; will they be able to slay these inhuman creatures or will they fall to their legendary bloodlust.

How's this?
I'm trying to make it so if you see this video in the recommended bar on youtube, it'll grab your attention.
How could I make it more attention grabbing?
If it isn't loading fast enough, here's an imgur link.

I tried giving it a summer, old school feeling.
Thanks in advance

decided this was the best board for this i need help to find the name of a painter.
All i remember is that the guy painted his nightmares and they were really morbid and dark, i also remember that he hated his paintings and didn't name any of them

it's so stylized that it's hard to give any real advice.
the hair kinda makes it looks like she's lying down, if that's the case then the tears should be falling to her left/right, not down the cheek. also, if she's laying down her breasts wouldn't be like that
the nose looks kinda odd, I think using lines to define the nostril would work better,, and the holes should be darker than just "dark skin color", nearing black the "deeper" you get. I think that using less lines to define the nose would work better. maybe just drawing the "holes" (as upside down "u" 's ) could do the trick

1 - it's pretty good scribble, though the hand are the biggest problem
2 - the nose and mouth area is pretty good and works well with the whole anime style, the eye is also fine( though imo the eyebrow reaches too close to it) but the hair and the rest of the head is a real problem here. the hair looks really dull...not as in "boring" ... but as in "not sharp". this makes the hair look "noodle-ish". not good. the back of the head is the biggest problem. it's not big enough.pic related. (stylized) hair expands out from where the skull ends, the outer part of the hair shouldn't be there where the border of the skull should be.
3 - this one is pretty good, though you are drawing way too small, which often leads to chicken scratches, instead of confident lines. the butt is the the only thing actually wrong here, it doesn't look good. I assume you either used a reference (which is good), or traced it (which is mostly bad) since everything else looks good and you managed to succeed in a pretty difficult perspective

Hi board.
I want to learn how to draw humans.
Please help. Will exchange thumbs for any and all help.
I'm -okay- at drawing ponies from MLP FIM, but I want to know how to do them humans.

drawing humans (like...non stylized humans) is hard and isn't something that you should jump right in to, if you have no experience in drawing. I mean, obviously you CAN do that if you want to, and I'm sure many have done so and succeeded, but you're going to run into many problems once you start dealing with more difficult poses and angles
if you want to draw stylized (like anime style or something like that), knowing how to construct a real face is still important
check this comment for drawing the head www.funnyjunk.com/art/27827#27827 just check the whole prokotv channel for how to draw
for general "how to draw humans", check out sycra. he has done many tutorials on how to draw humans www.youtube.com/sycra
if you want to read books about it, check out loomis and his books

don't get offended now, but drawing ponies doesn't mean much. they are very simplistic. every pony starts from the same template. it's just a matter of adding in the colors and accessories. you can't really transfer the experience you've gained from drawing ponies, in to drawing humans (or pretty much anything else for that matter)
take this as an example.
www.funnyjunk.com/art/27859#27859
as soon as you transferred from digital to traditional, your over all quality dropped immensely. the line work isn't confident; you couldn't even draw a straight line for the framing.
all that being said it's good that you've done some artwork before. it means that you got the desire to actually do it! but if you're going to draw traditionally, I wouldn't go straight to humans since you seem to lack line confidence and fundamental knowledge. humans are probably one of the most complicated things you can draw

Thank you! That post is very helpful, as I know what it is I am doing wrong/ need to improve on.
And as for my transfer from digital to tradtional, all my drawings (Except the one with the gears) started off as actual real life pencil drawings.
And yes, I know ponies are pretty simplistic, but it's some experience, I think.

technically yes, it is SOME experience, but human's are much more complex as alleksi has mentioned; especially if you want them to be "realistic." One of the most important thing's for me is having a deep understanding of human anatomy, know where everything is and how its all connected/ interacts with each other is incredibly useful.
i WAS going to post an example if my own work but realized i didn't have any pictures of unarmored humans -_-

Do you have any drawings of something to show us ? to know where are you standing right now. because it takes some time, you don't learn that in some days with "tutorials"
Otherwise i wouldn't take that serious like "TODAY I WANT LERN HOW TO HUMAN AND NEXT DAY I WANT TO BE A DOLPHIN OH LOOK A STONE"
Otherwise i wouldn't take that serious like "TODAY I WANT LERN HOW TO HUMAN AND NEXT DAY I WANT TO BE A DOLPHIN OH LOOK A STONE"
Well i hate to tell you, but that doesn't really count as experience. If you plan to draw human's and continue to trace, especially other people's art if you use Deviantart, people are gonna get pissed. If you want to become a true artist, you have to learn to draw without tracing; it only hamper's your own ability and could potentially get you in trouble
No. I look at some references for anatomy, and draw them on paper. But I've done less of looking at references really, except for people's OC ponies.
I don't print things out then use paper to draw over the lines.
Once done with the traditional part of drawing, I scan my pictures and use gimp to add colors, using a mouse. I have a graphics tablet but I find that hard to use.

well, take the object that has the simplest form. a running shoe has a lot of detail so don't take that
ear ring and hair accessories and such are small so it can be hard to transfer it to paper
most of the "organic stuff" can have a lot of detail so I wouldn't go with any of them
the class room bin seems like one of the easiest options, since it's basically just like drawing a cube/cylinder (depending on its shape)

Not sure what elaborate means but i guess it's like "explain yourself" ^^
Well, i just don't like it how people take well know drawings and re-draw them poorly with their own sheme of something. Because that is what the internet does all the time, it is just so uncreativ. sure, in that case it fits in the cuteness somehow but it is so cowardly how you have to take a Calvin and Hobbes reverence with deadmaus and Portal to get some "approval" from "funnyjunk".
it feels like you can't enjoy something without relating it to some popular stuff, just playing save and doing things everyone else would probably like ... impressing people you don't even know.
+ not even scanned
+ not blank paper, looks filthy

Elaborate does mean just that.
Not scanned, I don't have a scanner I apologize for crappy photos but it's all I have. Crappy paper, this is a doodle. I have some extra time at work and I like to doodle again I apologize for poorer quality.
Let me explain the drawing itself further. I didn't just want to throw references together and whore to the masses. I drew Joel with the aperture t because he's known for being a geeky fan and to have worn it as well as the hat for a visual reference that "calvin" is joel specifically and not just Calvin with deadmau5. I don't even remember how it came to me but the idea of drawing deadmau5 as Calvin and Hobbes just hit me. I really liked the idea of deadmau5's stage personality being like an imaginary friend to Joel. So I doodled this down. I'm sorry it's not up to your expectations but take it all in stride because I'm not shooting for gallery quality, I'm just simply sharing my doodles.

How do I draw a girl

Well, alleksi already made an really helpful comment with a lot of tutorials which seem to be nice i have to say. good luck doing whatever you're going to do but keep that "i can't draw, i can't to shit " attitude for you self cunt, you're not helping us or yourself with that.
okay a serious answer.
I'm assuming that it's a very basic art course, so getting a good score shouldn't be all that hard.
realistic face:
don't try to COPY what these videos teach you, but rather try to understand them. in proko's examples he is mostly drawing A MAN, so if you just straight up copy him, you'll end up with a man!

how to draw a female head (it's a pretty useless tutorial if you don't understand anything about the anatomy of the head so check the videos above first) www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UPuEmgUEK8
proportions of the adult female head (just look at the video and listen what he says, the "guidelines" aren't much help to you in the exam) www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3QMDC86gfE
how to draw female noses www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1I6sA-Jl7g
how to draw hair www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4KssWwHSRc
these wont be THAT much help to you because you only have less than a day to take these all in...so just go trough them and try to keep them in mind when you're in the exam.
basically. don't just instantly draw the finished lines and be done with it in 10 minutes. construct it

I'm not sure your level of skill, if the project has to be done in a style or not but I find youtube to be a surprisingly useful source.
Here's a video of how to do a basic drawing of a female face as seen from the front.

Well I'd suggest checking that video, it'll be helpful in the basics of drawing a face,.
Make sure to bring a pencil and eraser, take your time and I'd suggest practicing now.
Use reference and try it out today.
If you're in high scool/middle school(secondary school if overseas) then your teacher should be grading you on effort or application of principles taught and not on if it can be sold at a gallery or not. So just try your best and get some practice in while you have the time.

That should do. The thing that helped me the most when I was starting to learn to draw was to start with larger basic shapes and then start to fill in the details. Use an internal structure with lines(much like a skeleton) to help you with detail and pose.
I don't know what a state exam entails in art(I never took one) but as long as you put in some sort of effort I'd assume they'd give you a passing grade.
