Not out of nothing, if I had this as reference, probably. The difficult parts here imo is the guns angle, the lightning on the gun and the proportions. I still don't understand how in the name of fuck someone can do those gun shadings...

So I just woke up from an afternoon nap, and had a dream. It was an interesting one and I was wondering if someone would be willing to draw this scene for me, I lack artistic skills and I'll forget about the dream soon enough, so I'd like to have an image from the dream come to life if not then that's perfectly fine, this will just be me rambling about a dream I had. I felt it would fit most here. I don't remember all the details and shit but there's one part I specifically remember. There was these arms. They were full arms going from the armpit/shoulder up. They were discolored, being a palish purple with some blue. It was also shriveled and a bit boney and had similar pale purple nails. They came out of the black and dark red shadowy hole in the ground, and at one point I recall one asking me to grab it and pull it out of the ground to "get some sun" and it was night and shit, the night sky in the dream was neat as shit too, it was detailed and you could see a shit load of stars. There were a lot of arms in the ground, they lived as a community together in a building by a cemetery (this next part I thought was really neat). The community had little other than a pet dog, but the dog was just a walking skeleton of a dog, it was a pug if i remember, and they would walk the dog into the cemetery, going past the grave of a dog they and the spirit of the dog would go into the skeleton dog, allowing the hand to spend time with it's deceased pet for a short while, and the arms would all just take turns doing this, and spend time with there dogs.

that sounds really cool dude and made me kinda sad
i'd totally be willing to draw it. it would give me a reason to practice backgrounds. what do you want the drawing to be like?
User avatar #45804 to #45764 - teoanon (01/29/2014) [-]
It's really strange, I can picture what I saw in my head, and I attempted to do a layout of what I saw in paint from that perspective but that failed miserably, so I think it would be best to give off details and leave the representation to you which is more than enough, thank you. The cemetery itself was open and orderly with a square plaza in the middle, it had cement pathways and the graves were in sectioned off areas surrounded by a black fence, there also wasn't much flora, just overgrown grass and moss, plus a few trees. As for the sky, there was a overly large moon which lit up the graveyard plus a large concentration of stars in the sky, and the Arm walking the skeletal dog was in the plaza. I think that was about it, I apologize if I did poor in explaining things. Also sorry it took so long to reply.

Hi, I'm trying to make gifs from youtube videos so that I can become a better basketball player. I have downloaded LICEcap, and use that to record parts of youtube videos. However, they come out choppy and are generally not smooth. I've been on sites like Funnyjunk where they steal stuff and post to get thumbs and what not, and occasionally they have gifs. The first few seconds take a while, but after a bit they go smoothly, are clear, and repeat without any kind of weird recording mistake. Also, if it helps (and it will help me regardless if I learn or not), can someone make a gif out of the move Dwight Howard does at the 1 minute mark of the following youtube video? www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDeUWTbeBvo All I want to see is Dwight catch the ball, pivot around, and score. So basically everything from him catching the ball to scoring. If you can walk through the steps you took to make it smooth and what not that would be great. Also any tips/programs to download would be cool, too

Peeps, I need help. This image was drawn by a friend of mine that I have no idea what happened to (lost contact several months ago). She drew this originally on notebook paper, and I used the best of MS Paint skills to clean it up. What can I use to color/make look better?
User avatar #45756 to #45746 - nocturnalemission (01/28/2014) [-]
What do you mean by " What can I use to color/make look better? ".
Some proportion and anatomy fixes, like the legs, hands, feet, and the right arm.
You should be able to fix them without changing the style.

It'd be a web series but done in narrative so just drawing a relatively detailed illustration. No animation or anything.

User avatar #45772 to #45738 - thisisestonia (01/28/2014) [-]

#45776 to #45772 - ohmeghon ONLINE (01/28/2014) [-]
I took this photo and turned it into a greyscale vector. Since the white of the image you wanted contrasted highly, it came out bright white and the rest came out as dark undertones allowing me to separate them easily.
#45871 to #45861 - ohmeghon ONLINE (01/29/2014) [-]
This is the best I could get, that was a gross one to work with aha
User avatar #45873 to #45871 - thisisestonia (01/29/2014) [-]
I don't know if it's a right question or not, but is there a way to extract all white things from a picture and then delete what we don't want?
User avatar #45874 to #45873 - ohmeghon ONLINE (01/29/2014) [-]
Theres no magical tool to do it, but you can use the "Live Trace" tool to vector any image into a black and white, color, or greyscale. From there you can "Expand" the image so that it is easy to manipulate, and then separate the colors manually.

Make sure the subject is in high contrast, you can even edit the image beforehand in simple touchup software to raise brightness, contrast, etc to make it easier to work with.
