If anyone ever heard of the app Leanfied, a vaporwave type art app, I am an intern for them and we just dropped our Kick starter to release it for Android. I would really appreciate if you guys looked at it.

I really need to get used to flash.
Video-layers not being scaleable in Photoshop is turning out to be a real problem...retroactive edits would also be useful...but I've been having trouble getting into it,but eh,nothing a bit more experiments won't fix.

It's ugly pop needs additional frames, but I can't edit the template, hence,th realization that I need to switch to flash ,but gets the point across.

Ooh. I like it. Kinda reminds me of a superhero I'm designing with a friend.

This is a rough sketch of the idea for him, but he was also supposed to initially wear a plague doctor mask.

Have you ever screw up so bad the anatomy or part of it that you had to drop the pencil, walk out and take a breath?
I did yesterday... I was fixing some disproportions in the sketch and started making the lineart and colors... but I stopped in the right arm, something was off and I couldn't tell what right away, and then I see it... the hand was good and the shoulder too but the arm was inverted, the elbow was facing the wrong side !!!

To think that ... it could have been posted like that without me noticing.... Ughhh.

I usually double check.
then upload.
then, immediately upon upload, notice giant glaring errors. from mismatched eyes to missing extremities,it's all been there
hurried fixing commences.

I got a trick, is simple and somehow it works ... When I'm think that something is good (sketch, lineart or background) I show my friends the progress via Whatsapp or line... The trick is right when I take the picture with my phone and it says "Are you sure you want to send this?" in that moment my eyes become those of an eagle and every line is judged again in seconds!
I believe is the fear of failure that makes my senses sharper.

I do that every now and then, usually when I have 2 or 3 sketch layers and don't quite realize wich one is the best choice to clean up.
Don't usually do it when I'm finshed though.May or may not try that.shedules differ and all that.

I draw slowly... I take lots of breaks and that's a reason why I do, so when the obvious mistakes show up in the last steps is disturbing

Got the next 2 weeks off and I intend to use 'em.Not sure what I wanna fokus on though,so I'm just gonna' try and sketch a little each day and try to get re/aquaintanced with some programs.
trying to set up a shedule, but until then I'll just doodle stuff to get back into it.

Had a bash at shiny/reflective/glossy surfaces, whichever.
The logic of it seemed so simple, so i had to try it, pretty sure i was right too.

Sup guys, I'm wondering what do I alter in a person for height differentials. I know it can't be everything because then it will just look like a resized version of the original. Do the legs make up most of the tallness? It's a bit tough to think of a certain way because obviously there's people with long legs or large hands or whatever.

Sigh, height differentials, what do?

In most cases of dwarfism, the limbs are the shortest while head and torso remain the same size. In cases of children, their heads tend to be slightly larger in comparison to their bodies relative to adults. Shorter people have the same sort of thing, I think

Thanks man.

I'm assuming it works with taller people too? Limbs longer. I'm mainly confounded with the arms, the whole placement of the arm along the body (like wrist to crotch level on the average height of a basic human) makes me feel somewhat restricted since the torso doesn't increase in height as much as the limbs.

I need some sort of tutorial or something on it, height charts just confuse me due to the artists style or using different genders, age or weight (fat/thin/muscle).

I think that's why most artists draw male or females in perfect physical form. It's more comfortable rather than distorted heights

Hey Guys and Gals.

I'm designing a shirt to give my BEST friend because we thought it'd be fun to exchange shirts for Christmas since it's going to be our last year living together since we finish college. However... I CAN"T DRAW FOR SHIT! But you beautiful(?) people can!

AND IM WILLING TO PAY FOR IT

IF you're interested, PM me. The design is pretty simple. I want a picture of us drawn in a sort of Rick and Morty arm-in-arm having a good time with our names in the RnM font, and the other side is just cartoonized versions of our faces with some text underneath.

Thanks!

Yeah women are kinda difficult because their features are so subtle. That's why I got this PureRef document (pic related). I don't know how many pictures there are but the folder where I extracted these from has 2 200 female portraits.

Right now I'm trying to focus on effortlessly (but effectively) simplifying the features, and working in the hair with simple lines/contour shapes (I'm proud of the top right one in that regard). I'd say these are 10 minutes each, or at least that it feels like.

Mouths, and capturing likeness with stylized eyes is tough (although likeness is not a massive priority right now, if I wanna do that can spend more time with measuring and whatnot)

Hello Art, I came to share... I uploaded a new work in DA and the reception was even better than the previous two that were in fact twice more popular than my old work... For someone like me that has confidence issues that's a bless, two people even asked if I could make their commissions so my heart is racing right now... I wanted to thank every single fav but I got over 60 notifications idk where to start.

So I came here to thank you guys first for sharing with me and talking with me about experiences, works and tutorials... Even if we're not friends I feel at easy here.

I didn't accept the commissions bcoz I'm working in one right now and there are some tutorials that I must do... beside working in my backgrounds skills that sucks.

Sorry for my english
