it was good, didn't really like the moon squirrels episode but i'm happy
It is the last episode... last time you see them on space... I could be more specific but then I'd spoil the whole series
All I want to know is why did they start to say random shit like that... I mean, I have no problem with that, it's just that I want to know
What do you mean with "cour"?
What do you mean with "cour"?
Ye, can't remember that ending very well.
Japan airs TV in seasonal blocks, so while it is all considered one "season" or "series" by us and them, it is two cours split over two broadcasting seasons. Cours are just normally 11, 12, or 13 episodes halves of series.

Lain is best anime, Baccano! is good too.
Make sure to get the BDs for Lain, they improved the visual quality quite a lot.

I might get to buy a lot of anime soon as I barely spent any money in Thailand which left me with a ton now.

That's good man... I didn't know Lain had BD's... I've already given up to find these old series in more than 480p
Maybe I'll go for Baccano just because it's the shortest and I already downloaded it... But even on /a/ they say: Tutu>all of the anime

What?
It just doesn't sound as well to listen to Japanese seiyuu try to give off a 1930's Manhattan accent. While some voices are...regular Funi, a good portion are well done. I've listened to both. While the sub isn't bad it isn't as immersing to see all these American locations and then...the characters speak Japanese.

Is Lucky Star any good? Saw about 2/3 of first episode, didn't really seem promising. Any thing else recommended for comedy?
It's good, but the first few episodes suck because the original director was garbage.
So while waiting for another episode of titan. I need some recommendations on God tier anime. Ones that just make you start screaming glorious pig Latin at the top of your lungs. Ones that make you cry until your eyes get swollen shut. Ones that give you nightmares that haunt you for years. Any anime like that?

Azumanga Daioh made me do all three of those things.
And if you read manga, I recommend reading it in manga form too. The anime is pretty much covers EVERYTHING from the manga, but there's also a couple of extra chapters released for the anniversary called "Supplementary Lessons" that are also pretty good.

Baccano! also watch school days and Sora no Woto. All great for different reasons.
School Days, Inferno Cop, and Sora no Woto. The first two will make you react like you wanted, and the last is a nice change of pace.
I post it for every rec thread because I am too lazy for personalized recommendations.
It's great because once you've made it it's very easy to add more things as you watch more anime.
I would add Hyouka and Planetes to your list... and even though I've never seen Durarara, people've told me it's not that good... and then there is ARIA, it's meh

You realize that most websites like that will do the conversion for you right? And if you use credit, Visa or whoever will do the conversion (I think). But don't ever think of moving to Japan for any reason. Visiting is fine, but it is a really shit country that is terrible to live in. Sources: a friend who taught abroad.

Whas so bad about it anyways, besides the living space?
Woah. I have no idea about the year-round climate in Japan, but as a man from the Southern United States, I'm confident in saying that I will not move anywhere that does not have an air-conditioner for the entire house. I've spent too many months each year going outside in 100+ degree (fahrenheit; obviously) weather to be taking any chances without glorious air conditioning.
Japan, at least to my knowledge is varied in temperature. Hot in the summer and cold in the winter making it the exact worst place to have neither heating or AC.
This entire article is so truthful it hurts. Not hurting me, but is a quick gravity switch for anyone thinking Japan is a good place to live. I am going to take that link.
Hardly any jobs, low birthrate, economy is shit, they have to import basically all natural resources, you need a parking permit to own a car, foreigners are looked down upon, it is harder for them to get jobs, you used to need an "alien identification card" which basically gave you your rights, etc etc.
A lot. These are the things I remember being told.

Ask if he was in a rural area. That would explain the interest and the comment about the women. In Tokyo and Kyoto foreigners are more common, and thus less exciting. However, my blonde buddy did mention that when he went into the countryside his hair was the only thing everyone cared about, seeing as though it was natural. Blonde isn't natural for full-blooded Japanese and they are fairly isolated so....
It would be fine if you were just visiting, living there would suck though. I recommend going to Okinawa for vacation purposes though. Nice beaches, pretty well developed city (Naha) and likely some girls for you too. Not too much nerd stuff though. Unless you are into martial arts, in which case you could train at the Humbo Dojo, or one of the many others in the city.

Index is pretty good, especially once you meet Accelerator, who's really badass. Kamijou doesn't really have a lot of shining moments, but he's overall pretty cool. I'd give it a watch.
I really liked Sakurasou, but most people think the drama is a bit over the top. I'd say you should watch it if you like romantic comedies and drama, and you shouldn't watch if you like things to always go the Main cast's way.

I'm never watching Sakurasou I'm just too lazy to remove it, and I'll watch Index maybe in 6 years. Too many higher priority things.
You aren't really missing out on much when it comes to Sakurasou. You'd really only like it if you like the genre's a lot.
And you can determine whether or not you'll enjoy Index through the first 3 episodes. If you don't like it at that point, you might as well drop it.

I read the first volume of the Densetsu no Yuusha LN, and it was interesting enough, the MC was pretty capable and didn't really have any negative traits except laziness, and as far as I remember there were no stereotypical archetypes.
Ookami to Koushinryou is incredibly forgettable and wasn't anything special, only worth watching if you literally have nothing better to do.
Persona 4: The Animation had some pretty hilarious moments, if you liked the game you'll like the anime.
