Code Geass and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood are two of the most "important" anime for beginners, imo and they are pretty damn awesome, too.

School Days is a must watch, with Sora no Woto and Inferno Cop right behind.

I know how it feels. I missed the whole summer 2012 seasons because I though like that. I got used to it really quickly because I picked up literally 20 anime during the next season, so I had something to watch every day. Even right now I'm watching 12 anime and have no problem with waiting a whole week for a new episode of one series. It actually excites me more.

The characters are really good and for once there is an MC I can relate to and that makes it so much more fun to watch. Also it has made me laugh out loud a few times.

You should be used to waiting a week for regular television, just think of it as the same thing.

The thing is after I got my computer (a few years ago), I completely stopped watching TV just because I could find everything online.
But like yusay said, I should just pick up a few more series to watch to ease the "pain".

Maybe this is just something that people who don't watch many airing shows have a problem with, because honestly, I feel like new episodes come out very, very quickly and I have to work sometimes not to fall behind.

It's most likely just that I haven't gotten used to waiting a week(?) for a new episode. I don't watch many anime at the same time so I usually go through them fast.

Best thing I can say is to pick up a few more airing shows. You get a new episode of something almost every day.

School arc, which is last, doesn't have as much comedy from my memory, but it's personally my favorite. Chronologically it's the first arc. Glad you're enjoying it.

The robot arc thing was the worst one so far, too little fairies too much dark flame master.

That one's probably my least favorite as well, tied with maybe Paradox arc.

I don't think i reached that one yet, only seen chicken,manga and robot.
