I found this hilarious xD But at the same time, AC3 is changing it up a lot so that's not entirely true
Lol, you guys are all fine to flame on mw3 or any CoD, but get all butthurt when someone messes with your assassins creed
Assassin's creed is most definitely not the greatest game series, and even if it was, that's still an opinion (Not saying that assassin's creed is bad, mind you)
and it hasn't even come out yet, they could easily be showing the best parts of the game, and it could be worse than the others when it comes out.

I thought the idea of being a loan killer fighting an entire nation in some iconic American landmarks was pretty cool.

this isn't even true. so FUCK YOU. Assassin's creed always brings something new and unique to the table. whileas COD it's just new guns. but you can't do this to Assassin's creed.

The only people who say Assassin's Creed is repetitive are the people who've never played it. With the exception of the first one. That one was pretty repetitive.

Well with that logic every game series is repetitive. Every AC game has a new terrain, a new story, new weapons, new fight moves, and the list goes on. Just because the characters and general objectives of the games are similar, doesn't make it any more repetitive than any other game series.
It's not repetitious in the fact that it's setting changes; the foundation that this games combat is based off of just isn't for me. It's way too simple for me to really grasp, and it doesn't help that it's been pretty much exactly the same since the first game.
they bring many new things to the table every game but what i love about the game is the story
i know most people don't like the story-line of games and it is a waste of time. And i agree but with AC i love the story-line and can't get enough of it. Especially when they leave you thinking at the very end at the cliff hanger

I suppose I haven't really been that invested in Assassin's Creed before; I rented Revelations, it was fine, but what turned me off was how simple it really was. I guess I'm kind of hypocritical in that matter if I'm looking forward to games like Resident Evil 6, but I guess I just can't get into the series.
yes i do believe that the fighting in the game is really simple once you learn how and nothing much to up the difficulty in that but in ACIII they say that the the way you fight will be more complex and force you to attack instead of just waiting someone else attack for an easy counter kill.
