That BS, my friend has the same Nokia. Battery last forever.. Aslong as you don't use the phone. A phone call uses half the battery.

Best touchscreen phone...atm...Samsung Galaxy S.
This bitch gets fully charged in 2-3 hours and lasts a minimum of 5 if using apps at close to full memory consumption...not doing anything on it and its not off...lasts 2 days. The only real battery killing app i ahve used so far is Zynga Poker which just eats the battery life away. I bet the new Galaxy S2 probably kicks more ass than my phone

This girl made fun of me for having a Nokia C6 saying hers is better, I laughed as she used an Iphone4s with a broken screen, while mine has been ground againts walls, banged on walls/windows/my floor and fallen from bleachers and only has a small scrape on the screen.
TL;DR stop being lazy and read it

My 11 year old Nokia had never been recharged, but to this day it still has 21% battery.

Nokia=phone calls
iPhone= Talk/text/facebook/Funny Junk/bored apps/ weather apps/ light app that drains a bettery per second/virgin detector app/ 4G super nerd speed/ other sexy ass apps that make you cum leprechaun dust(may contain arsenic)/ and keep you entertained, the only downside is that Nokia's can kill boredom is you find it and throw said Nokia at boredom, doesn't stand a chance.....
That is all.

This is true.
Though I heard it's due to touch screen. Apparently touch screen phones have poor battery.
I have two phones, my main phone which is a Nokia, had it for 6 years and battery life is still good.
My literally brand new Samsung Galaxy, even if I don't play any games at all and hardly use it, the battery is almost dead within 10 hours.

The screen can use a lot of power, but generally that's only if you are really using the phone. The real problem with smart phones is that they are much like an actual computer. When sitting in your pocket its basically in "sleep" mode. In order to be ready to wake up and be used at any time it still uses a ton of processes and all the processing is what eats batteries up on most smart phones. That's the problem that smart phones face as far as advancing technology. The bigger, better processing power would mean eating away at battery life. And while it becomes easier to make smaller processors, batteries are still hard to make any smaller.

**OVERDOSE rolled a random image posted in comment #5078101 at FJ Pony Thread ** What I use for a phone
My Iphone lasts about four days without me charging it again, but I don't use it often and when I do it's merely only for calling others and listening to music.
Whilst battery life isn't as good as it used to be, your only going to get the situation where it drains in 12-14hours if you cannot go for a second without playing with it.

actually on an iPhone or iPod touch if you lower the brightness all the way down you can save a ton of battery, just saying
I really don't think people appreciate what iphones do. High speed Internet, music, video, quality graphics games...they're like a computer and they're tiny, all that stuff uses a lot of power. The battery life is actually quite good considering what they do
no i'll carry a laptop in a bag over my shoulder with portable internet...some of which are now no bigger then a orange...i hate phones thus i do that. and NEVER have i had someones 3g or 4g phone look up something faster then my laptop. once again its a laptop but i can still do more with it. and it doesnt bug me to carry it around i carry for work and all the time.
