The ****** up part is that the guy most likely got fined and got hate mail from animal rights activists and tree huggers for killing an endangered animal.

I agree though, i wouldnt have been able to post this if i was still freaked out by it. Just the most chilling thing i had, though a polar bear threat isnt as freaky as a good slendy story or something.

The morbidity that i posted it for was due to the fact that polar bears scare the **** outta me, and i found this to be chilling and scary. Better than a NOPE story. If you have a truly, undeniably morbid post, i would love it and thumb you twofold given the chance.

The last picture of the leg was not due to a polar bear attack, that was a result of someone walking around with a loaded shotgun and not using the safety.

The man seemed to have his tent-building skills down, and has a suitible self defense firearm on hand.... makes me wonder why he wouldnt be more wary of the local predators....

Firearms work as often for self defense against bears as none at all. The more you know.

Well it seemed like playing dead may not have dont him much good in the scenario. We'd have to see it happen to know. For all we know the bear was sick! or the man was banging pots and pans together! All speculation now. I'm just saying that he lived, that's the idea. I'd prefer the bear had lived of course but in a situation where your opponent cannot be reasoned with? Fair point though broski.

Oh God No! Never play dead! Look at Yellowstone's Night of the Bears. Bear Spray causes only temporary pain to the animal (most of the time) and is almost 100% effective.

The internet has ruined me. This didn't make me even feel the slightest bit sick when I think it should have.

Not necessarily ruined, as much as made you a tad jaded, and prepped you for any unfortunate circumstances!

Morbid doesn't mean gore :L why so many people no know difference

WE NEED A GORE CHANNEL

morbid channel used to be full of gore and scary stories. The stories died out, the gore went away, and then came the NOPENOPENOPE and the "once upon a time i gave my wife my wallet" posts. I do know the difference: I personally am afraid of polar bears, and i find this story chilling and nightmare worthy. Some others may find the premise creepy and therefore at least slightly morbid. If you can think of some way to bring the heary-stopping scares back, be my guest. I delivered as best as i could.

Either way, thanks for the opinion, always love the feedback. Have a good day broski

maybe a channel about fears would have been a better solution for you, but gore and morbid things aren't always the same.

Gore scares you

Morbid things haunt you

if you have a fear this does both to you.

gore is a reflex

morbid is psycological < yeah i misspelled

fear is both

I understood your meaning. I have chronic hallucinations, so when i say "I'm afraid of polar bears" it means "I ran away from invisible polar bears growing up". This post is psychological for me, about as morbid as it gets.
Thanks for logical response though.
