NG+=New Game Plus
Enemies have more health, they do more damage, pretty much harder enemies.
When you finish the game you'll end up in NG+ with all your equipement from the first playthrough, except a few fixed items.

Each time you finish the game it gets harder, NG+2 means I have finished it twice.

My experience with Cata has been somewhat buggy with quests, but with enhanced leveling (I recommend x20 leveling if it's available for WoTLK) it shouldn't seem like much of a problem if you understand which type of quests are usually never bugged.

Also keep in mind of one thing; Economy is relatively inflated as fuck. This is due to the fact that donations were rewarded with thousands of gold, and this therefore caused a great deal of inflation, making it difficult to match the prices with rewards acquired from questing.
My advice is to pick up a gathering profession that's efficient, such as mining, and always be ready to mine up ores to sell on the auction house.

how many people play it btw? Its no fun if its just a empty world with only 2-3 people on in SW or orgrimmar.

I went onto two servers during cata; one was an x10, another was x20, and both seemed to be robustly populated.
I always see people saying "Fuck this Cata bullshit" and going to WoTLK, so I imagine that might be just as populated.

The only problem is inter-realm BGs hasn't been implemented yet, but these are some hard working developers.

I dropped out of assassins creed between brotherhood and revelations, it's no longer about assassination big targets, it's about two groups of people who wants an apple.

but ac3 has the exact same "count of monte cristo" formula of kid getting his family killed by institutional big hats and killing them one by one later in his life, + political reasons inherent to their time

and it's ALWAYS been about two groups of people wanting an apple, only thing changing is the templars being shown under a more neutral light, no theme whatsoever in the story changed

well yes, but at the core of assassins creed 1 the gameplay was based on gathering info and striking the target, that's it. from target to target you went and the apple thing only showed up at the end.

now there are all kinds of bullshit, you no longer play an assassin, you play a random dude who just happens to be in the same line of ancestors as Altair. there's barley any proper assassination anymore.

that's pretty much it in ac3 though, apart from a prelude the game's just a check list of people to frame and murder

If you are going to go light armor, get the Darkwood Grain ring relatively early. And a standard shield. Get endurance up after you main attack stat is around 30, equip load goes up, block everything, and dodge what you can't block.

Theif armour is amazing, the mage def on it is astounding.

I've been rocking thief armour since minute one and haven't regretted it. The smallest shields are retarded though.
The only real reason why I haven't changed my armour is because I don't think that any light armour looks cooler.

Bloodshield. I use grass crest for the Four Kings but I might use it more once I get around to upgrading it.

Thief armour has no poise so once you get hit you can end up getting pretty fucked.
Best thing to do is mix the armours up so you have some poise and defence but can be light enough for a fast roll or maybe mid roll.

What's a 'good' poise level?

above 36ish would be best, would save you from most one handed attacks I believe, but that would be like from one hit, stagger builds up like bleed or poison so you will always eventually break your poise.
if you have a spare ring slot you should go get the wolf ring, its a handy poise boost

Depending on your stats and current equipment, whatever gives the highest poise and still allows you to mid roll.

Right, so none of the beginning soldier armor gives me poise, so I may as well use the thief armor, because it's faster, amirite?

yes, and they only show up in darker or lighter spots. They aren't moving. there's 3 in the middle and 4 up top. They're like...whiteish.
