If Ouya's dedication to being an open gaming platform wasn't already obvious, now you'll be able to 3D-print your own Ouya console case.
With the first consoles being shipped out to early backers on 28 March, Ouya has announced a partnership with MakerBot, the 3D printing company.
Templates and specifications for the Ouya console case have been uploaded to MakerBot's website Thingiverse.com, allowing users with a 3D printer to customise their console. The template includes a case, a lid, and a spring-loaded button.
Ouya is an attempt to break the stranglehold of closed platform games console like Playstation and Xbox. Its Kickstarter campaign in 2012 raised over $8.5 million (£5.6 million) from 63,000 backers. The console costs $99 (£65), runs on a version of Android, and allows gamers to try games for free before purchasing them. The partnership between Ouya and MakerBot mirrors Nokia's decision in January to release 3D templates for the Lumia 820, thus allowing customers to 3D-print their own case for the smartphone.
On 8 March at SXSW, MakerBot unveiled a device called the "Digitizer", which creates digital scans of physical objects, allowing the user to make copies of the object using a 3D printer. It can currently only scan objects smaller than 20cm by 20cm.
The full launch of the Ouya games console is in June.

Alistar can jungle, nunu and master yi. The others are meh. Oh and Sion.
If my friend buys Simcity and installs it on his PC, what will happen if I log onto his account and install the game onto my PC?
you can't both play at the sametime only one at a time under the person who bought it
if it was a gog.com game that is a different story (but it is not)

Good, I doubt my friends PC can even handle the game (He literally paid $50 for it)
he shouldve bought simcity 4 they say the new one is a complete downgrade
I could just pirate that honestly, and I meant he bought his PC for $50.
Dark Souls. Get yo pussy ass and kill those archers.
You should! I'll try and watch, and laugh be supportive if you die, but my internet is shitty so I might not be able to.

Some interesting news concerning the Wii U’s graphical capabilities has come out of the Game Developer’s Conference.
During their time on the GDC press circuit, developers representing DICE and Epic Games discussed whether or not their latest graphics engines (the Frostbite 3 and Unreal Engine 4 respectively) can run on the Wii U. While the answers seem to lean towards no, they’re not quite as clear cut as they seem to be.
When chatting with Eurogamer’s Wesley Yin-Poole, DICE executive producer Patrick Bach explained the reason why we won’t see Battlefield 4 on the Wii U. It’s because Frostbite Engine 3 doesn’t support the console. Bach said the team at DICE doesn’t want to back down from what it sees as its low spec machines.
“We right now don't have support for the Wii U in the Frostbite engine. The reason for that is it takes development time. What should we focus on to create the best possible Battlefield experience? We are now focused on PC and the current-gen platforms, and then there might be other platforms in the future that we can't talk about.
“We could probably make a Wii U game in theory. But to make the most out of the Wii U, that's a different game because of the different peripherals. We want to utilize all the power of each console.” Yin-Poole than asked if the GamePad was the reason why Battlefield 4 wasn’t being ported to the Wii U, as opposed to the console’s graphical capabilities. This is Bach’s response:
“It's everything. We could potentially make a Battlefield port for the Vita. But what would that game be? Is it something we could scale down from what you saw in the gameplay video, or would it have to be a complete redesign of the whole game?
“It's about, where do you put your focus? And the Wii U is not a part of our focus right now.”

I like the five seven the most, probably because I have a really good trigger finger
Cheap pair of $20 Yapsters, they work amazing for their price. 4 months of loyal work from them so far.
Any of you motherfuckers who play Awesomenauts: Who's your favourite 'naut and strategy? I'll start. Gnaw: Seedlings on neutral creeps, short cooldown, long range, damaging goo. Gets the job done.
Coco: lightning ball damage and speed increase with my blazeboard.
It's so satisfying hitting killing an enemy trying to get away with that abillity.
Ironically, the Golem wasn't very hard to kill. I'm sorry but I couldn't think of a good pun
Anor Londo is definitely my favourite area in Dark Souls so far. It's gorgeous, the enemies are something new and interesting to deal with - especially the giants - and Ornstein and Smough are so much fun to fight. I haven't beaten them yet, not by a long shot, but they really keep you on your toes. I'm looking forward to fighting giant Ornstein.

I cant get past those archers.
its impossible to shoot them with the pc controlls
even if i hit i do 0 damage (posion arrows or whatever i was supposed to have)
When i run up to them and kill one of them, the other guy shoots me once and i fly off the map.
ugh.

Poison arrows are the answer, for sure. Buy a surplus - I bought 50 but I've only used 10 or so - and take your time getting the aim right. You only need to land two hits or so to poison them, and once they're poisoned you can sit back and wait for them to die. Also, if you stand at the very back of the platform you're on, where the two demons are, you're out of range of their bows, so you can take your time perfecting your aim and you'll be completely safe.

Woo, had a Kayle with 16 minions when everyone else had 60 minions.
She then went afk. Thank god she was top.
Because I was leona and I fucking wrecked shit with the ad carry and won the game.
Friend then decided it would be good to invite his level 1 friend who doesn't even know how to upgrade boots and weapons.
Won that game too.
So, basically just won two 4 vs 5 games in a row. (Not to mention that our Zed in one game had quite an awful score.) I daresay this was a good day.

To make things easier and instead of individual repiles:
Order of timelines:
sluge (Almost done)
electricsheep
MrDeadiron
tylosaurus
misterymisterman
Depending on source material, tweaks and such, each one normally takes an hour.

Thanks very much, man. I appreciate the effort, I used to make custom pokémon sprites for people and this is way more time-consuming.
You're most welcome.
I find editing, no matter what you're doing, is always somewhat time consuming, but I enjoy it ;)

Hey, you managed to make it not look like some shitty filter! Perhaps, you used a grunge texture and a sepia filer as well as changing the blending option on the knight layer to make it blend? Is this close?
Text is kinda close I guess. It's a font similar to the one in DmC: Devil May Cry.
The background is made up of two different things, parchment from Oblivion and a Horde Wallpaper from WoW. Used darken tool on the backgrounds and I used the healing brush on the knight to embed into the background

I'll pick up slack on the other dark souls guy if you want. Just give me the size of the document. I feel like being creative right now.
Sure thing. I'm currently working on the Dragon Age Origins one.
851x315.
851x315.
Ahhh, I see. This is more interesting than the actual art to me. So blending it huh? And then healing brush. It does give it that soft "bleed in" effect. Cool. Imma keep watching you.

I'd like a Dark Souls timeline too, please - with Havel the Rock (farm7.static.flickr.com/6018/6209453088_a099fc305c_b.jpg) and the tagline 'Can't stop the rock'. If you want to, of course - much appreciated.
That's pretty kick ass, I doubt I'l make anything better though.
I'l try, I guess.
I'l try, I guess.
You don't necessarily have to make it too dark and moody - can't stop the rock is a disco song, it's supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek.
I guess you just couldn't penetrate the difficulty of it.
That's awesome, thanks so much! I want to see what Dremora does too, but this is really cool!
Well, if you want to play around with it and make something you think is better I certainly won't stop you from trying! Just a thought - if you were going to, you could try using some Dark Souls architecture for the background, like Anor Londo or the Burg?
Of course not, I'm already very happy with it - I just know the feel of not being satisfied with a piece of art (way back when I used to draw stuff.)
Well, looks like you were better than I ever was - particularly at clothes, I could never get the hang of creases.
You seem pretty good at them, at any rate. My old deviantart is silvershadow777.deviantart.com, in case you want to look at anything I've done.
Apologies.
I'm a lot better at darker themed stuff and I guess it's a lot easier to work with something I know.
I'l dink around again tomorrow (Really tired atm) and try to come with something better

Could you male one of either Dragon Age: Origins or Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders?
One for Transistor, the newly annouced SuperGiant Games entry. From the guys that did Bastion. If you can come up with something cool, I would be seriously impressed.
I can try, but my source material is going to be limited since there seems to be a lack of pictures around.
It's okay. I can actually do my own, and have done so in the past. I just want to see what you decide to do before I go try my own.
Fair enough, I'l let ya know when I'm done then :)
Spread the word about this game, the fly commands it.
I just bought myself a PSVita the other day, anyone have game recommendations?
Soul Sacrifice. If I ever wanted a PSVita this would be the reason. It's like a combination of Dark Souls and Monster Hunter.
I haven't had much time to play it but it's really fun. The screen is so beautiful it looks even better than my xbox with an HDMI cable. And the functions like the touchscreens and tilt are really cool and fun to explore and not to mention the games are pretty well priced coming from someone who hasn't used handheld games for a long time. But I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase. There's plenty to love about it.
I don't know about that. You may want to search up on the firmware, i've never done that before for fear of damaging the system.
The store clerk was actually trying to get me to buy that game but i only had enough for one game at the time and I NEEDED Persona 4. But it looks good, I will probably get it, thanks!
