Lemme tell you a trick, first off, they are weak to dark.
Second, try your best to kill the first one before it falls. Next, if you summon the npc to the right of the fog gate, go for the sentinel he's not attacking. Make sure to dodge the big attacks, but the smaller ones can be blocked easily.

According to Microsoft director of product planning Albert Penello, there are "lots of cool things" coming to Xbox in the future. Writing on Twitter, Penello said he's not able to share these just yet

"Lots of cool things happening. I wish I could share, my friend," Penello said to a fan. Unfortunately, Penello did not provide any more details on what some of these new features might be or when they will be delivered.

Late last month, DayZ creator Dean Hall made a similar tease. After meeting with Microsoft to discuss a DayZ console port, Hall said he was shown some "really interesting" Xbox One features that he was not permitted to discuss publicly.

"There were definitely some things they said that I'm not allowed to talk about that I was like, 'Wow! That's interesting. Why don't you tell people that?' But I guess they want to make sure everything all goes together and that," Hall said at the time.

What could these interesting new Xbox One features be? One possibility is a full-game streaming service similar to Sony's PlayStation Now, which Penello told GameSpot at PAX Prime is something that Microsoft's Azure cloud servers are capable of delivering. Microsoft also intends to one day bring back its ambitious Family Sharing plan for digital Xbox One games. On top of that, Microsoft plans to extend its Games with Gold service to Xbox One in the future.

well, its broken up into 4 planets. or something like that. and a couple of moons. anyways instead of just taking the space port then teleporting anywhere on the map, they took out spaceport and you have to use webway gates to get from planet to planet. you also have to maintain a connection between territories and your capital or you lose income from those severed territories. Each planet has 2 factions on it.

so, more interesting then the dark crusade map in which you just get the spaceport to break the game.

I feel the controls in Dark Souls were rather tight, like you were in control of your character to the nth degree. Graphics aren't really what people should look for, because pong didn't have almost any graphics, and is one of the most memorable games of all time because of the gameplay. I don't see what's wrong with the UI, can you go into more detail?
User avatar #861730 to #861712 - voltkills (03/14/2014) [-]
grapics do matter, they make a game better, if i have to play the game for 20 hour while looking at shit textures, frankly, i dont want to. I find the UI old and outdated, i just didnt like it. Im talking PC for the controls, utter trash.

titanfall is awesome, a lot of missed potential with a proper campaign, but i quite like the way its done, its different from the usual FPS crap, which is pretty much titanfall summed up in one sentence
User avatar #861669 to #861593 - fargthree (03/14/2014) [-]
I'm enjoying the it immensely, but you're right. The lack of a proper campaign is made even more glaring by how well done the multiplayer is. The multiplayer campaign seemed like something that looked good on paper but whoever designed it clearly didn't think about how hectic the game gets. I can honestly say that I missed every single word of the story because of explosions.
User avatar #861677 to #861669 - fargthree (03/14/2014) [-]
Also, there are some things missing from the mutiplayer suite that don't really have any reason for not being there. Being able to rename classes, private matches If the minions really take as much off site processing power as Respawn says they do, I get why it's not there but it is kind of odd for a multiplayer only game to be lacking this , hell, a little more visual customization it'd be more for vanity than anything else but being able to make your space soldier hot pink is "in" right now in AAA FPS's .
All in all, I give Titanfall a solid 8.5/10. Not quite the messiah I imagine Microsoft was praying for but also arguably the most fun I've had in any game in years.

if you dont like the game-play... there is wither something wrong with you, or you wasted alot of money on purpose. the gameplay is refreshingly awesome, free running, combined with faced paced shooting, and then the mech combat, its great.
User avatar #861597 to #861596 - tohya (03/14/2014) [-]
Fast paced shooting? Hardly. Unless you're cooped up in a room with an LMG, nothing about the shooting is "fast paced". The mech combat is hardly great, as a smart pilot can just volley your shot back at you, eject, and take you out while the AI Titan continues to harass you amidst that Pilot shooting through your shields.

"a smart pilot can just volley your shot back at you, eject, and take you out while the AI Titan continues to harass you amidst that Pilot shooting through your shields"

Please elaborate as to how that doesn't constitute great mech combat, because that sounds like pretty great mech combat. Titanfall has some flaws here and there but the Titans themselves are pretty damn near flawless.
User avatar #861685 to #861681 - tohya (03/14/2014) [-]

A new war video game is turning the genre on its head, casting you not as a soldier in battle but rather as innocent bystanders who are left dealing with the reality of the turmoil surrounding them. From Polish developer 11 bit studios (the company that recently hired a pair of Witcher 3 designers), the game is called This War of Mine. Its tagline is "In war, not everyone is a soldier."

Described as a "dark survival game," This War of Mine has you controlling a group of civilians who are trying to stay alive in a city besieged by war.

"During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, offering players time to craft, trade, upgrade their shelter, feed and cure their people. At night they must scavenge nearby areas in search for food, medicines, weapons, and other useful items."

This War of Mine was inspired by the real-life story of how one man survived in a city surrounded by war, lead designer Michal Drozdowski said in a statement.

"We learned about his hardships and the horror of that experience," he said. "We decided to work around this idea and make something real, something that moves people and make them think for a second. It's about time that games, just like any other art form, start talking about important things."

In This War of Mine, players will make "life-and-death" decisions based on what their conscience tells them. Some options including trying to protect the people in your shelter...or sacrificing some of them in order to survive. "There are no good or bad decisions during war. There's only survival," reads the game's description

This War of Mine is coming to PC and mobile devices, and will make its worldwide debut at the Game Developers Conference next week in San Francisco. You can check out a trailer below and read more about it on the game's website.

Pfhf, they say a lot of shit. Im sure they have plans ready for it. Why wouldnt they make a new one if the others has been quite succesfull
User avatar #861551 to #861548 - awesomedewd (03/14/2014) [-]
cuz hurrdurr skyrim much gud and hurrdurr TESO.

Skyrim got a casual bitch slap and was more succesfull than any other TES and Fallout.

Fallout 3 was the only Fallout by bethesda themselves, Obsidian Entertainment just picked Fallout 3 up and build a new game (New Vegas) around it. The core is the same, it's just another story and another region. While Bethesda "only" published it.

So to say. Bethesda didn't do anything Fallout related for nearly 6 years and officialy stated that they aren't working on anything Fallout related when that idiot online made a fake announcement of a new Fallout.

Give up little fellow, you're not the only one who hopes, but the hope is in vain.

because sometimes it's best to just let a series rest
#861555 to #861550 - jokesexplane (03/14/2014) [-]
Honestly, I don't think they intended for it to be a series, but just wanted to bring back the world of the original Fallout titles.. Bethesda only actually made one Fallout game, the other was outsourced. I think people just expect it to be an ongoing series because the Elder Scrolls is.
User avatar #861553 to #861550 - awesomedewd (03/14/2014) [-]
Rest? You mean like rest in peace?
Otherwise it's a pretty long rest.

If anyone here has played Batman: Arkham Origins, is the game worth getting? I mean, I know it wasn't reviewed as well as Arkham City, but usually what that means for a game that follows a great game is that it wasn't better than said great game, not that it wasn't as good.
User avatar #861558 to #861542 - herecomesjohnny ONLINE (03/14/2014) [-]
the gameplay was very similar, so the only incentive to play it is the story.

Which was very good in my opinion, very hype and very lore-friendly

I'm okay with gameplay being similar I guess. I really just want this because of Deathstroke and because Robin is in it in some way, if only in the multiplayer.

Thanks for actually responding.

oh and the boss fights, which are numerous, are actually the one thing that's quite better than arkham city. And there are lots. So yeah, nice story and boss fights, just throwing this out there.

What about the one with Deathstroke? Does it still make him seem cool?

Killed my first boss, The Last Giant
Where to now, point me in the right direction
User avatar #861540 to #861536 - dragondust (03/14/2014) [-]
Where you're at there really isn't a 'right direction'. Just progress wherever you want to.
The pursuer is near The last giant if you want to go and fight him.
User avatar #861547 to #861540 - kothaex ONLINE (03/14/2014) [-]
Oh. I found him.
I thought he was a normal mob when he appeared earlier, and was disappointed when he didn't show up again. I just got rekt.

Aight I found that I need to present the symbol of the king or something like that to this door, don't spoil too much it's just do I buy it or something
User avatar #861539 to #861538 - Gonnafly (03/14/2014) [-]
I think that's for a lot later on the game.

You can either fight the pursurer now or go to the tower of flame
User avatar #861543 to #861539 - kothaex ONLINE (03/14/2014) [-]
If I wander around long enough will I find both of those?

I managed to complete the last giant in just the starting rags and some armor from enemies, so I feel pretty confident with evil eye/regen rings and new armor from the vendor

I've been walking around for a while and I can't find any obvious paths.
User avatar #861552 to #861543 - Gonnafly (03/14/2014) [-]
Probably, make sure to open doors since the key from the giant opens a lot of them.
The tower can be found from majula pretty easily.

One enterprising modder has engineered a solution for using an Xbox One controller on a PC.

Microsoft has said it will provide official drivers to enable the new controller on the PC in the future, but it has not said when these will be released--until then, this unofficial solution will work nicely.

The modder, Lucas Assis, said in a YouTube video that it took him about a day's work to engineer the workaround. There's a few steps involved to get it working, but any confident Windows user should be able to get it up and running in about 10 minutes.

Assis provides all the relevant information in his tutorial on YouTube.

In short, the workaround requires you to install a set of drivers and software to fool your PC into assuming a regular old Xbox 360 controller has been connected to the machine.

A similar solution--of tricking Windows into thinking an Xbox 360 pad has been connected--has been made available for the PS4 for a while now. Unlike the actual DualShock 4, when using the controller on the PC you can even disable the Light Bar.
