Just wondering, whats the attraction to the show for bronies? Not hating, I just dont understand it... I decided to try it, didnt have the magical transformation everyone tlaks about....
Because appreciating "love and tolerance" clearly means you can't dislike something.
I'm sorry, probably a very stupid question, but what the hell is a 'clopper'?

hey guys, I always wondered, am I a brony just for liking that show? I mean just the way like Dexter's Laboratory, Courage The Cowardly Dog and so on. And a little usage of some pony reaction images.
guise?
guise?
Exactly, those people preach "love and tolerance", and bitch about "haters", provoke people, and thumb people down to oblivion if they say anything that they don't agree with. Hey, it's like the Republican party.

I think the bible tried to teach love and tolrance but that one fialed big time.
couldn't find parable but here is related material.
These people show honor to me with words, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is worthless. The things they teach are nothing but human rules.'" After Jesus called the crowd to him, he said, "Listen and understand what I am saying. It is not what people put into their mouths that makes them unclean. It is what comes out of their mouths that makes them unclean."Stay away from the Pharisees"overly religious people"; they are blind leaders. And if a blind person leads a blind person, both will fall into a ditch."

YES. That's exactly right. There is a HUGE difference between what these judgmental bible thumpers preach (a twisted message to suit their ends), and what is actually in the bible. I'm glad there are intelligent open minded people out there that can see that...

The whole "love and tolerate" bullshit is the biggest problem i have with bronies. Like the show? fine. Wanna talk about it with other people? Fine. But when they act like because they watch the show, they have had an epiphany and have this higher, enlightened set of morals than the rest of the world, thats what pisses me off. And i know not everyone who watches the show is like that, and to those people, i say live and let live. However, the people who act like the show is some bible-esque guideline for enlightenment have something wrong with them.
This "love and tolerate" thing isnt something that is new to cartoons. Childrens shows (which is what, in the end, MLP is after all) have been trying to teach identical lessons
pretty much since their inception. These same lessons that people claim to be taking away from this show are identical to those that Dora the Explorer, or Blues Clues, or any other childrens show has been trying to teach to toddlers for 50 years now. Even worse, some have a "holier-than-thou" attitude about it, thinking that they are superior because they watch the show.
People need to realize that these "morals" are absolutely nothing new. They were in every kids show they ever watched. The only difference now is they are old enough to clearly understand the message.
Pic extremely related.

*Hipster glasses* I loved and tolerated before it was cool.
I like the fact that the bronies are inputting these morals into their lives (because apparently blues clues isn't working), but the "holier than thou" attitude because of it is annoying, I agree. I say let them do their Love and Tolerance, but when they start contradicting themselves (As the comic a few posts down explains) I get annoyed.

I guess you're right in saying that theres nothing wrong with them trying to be more decent to people. But clearly many of them dont actually believe it, as evidence by all the contradictions, yet they still act as if they have been "awakened" to a sort of higher state of being.
In the end, its really not that big of a deal. But its just something that has gotten on my nerves after 6 months of hearing about it.
