If you've ever done any kind of computer programming/coding, you will know how a regular ordinary word can start too look like you've forgotten every thing you ever learned about spelling. "Particle... partickle? Par-tickle? Par-tea-cal? Party-cal? WTF am I doing?"

Do this.
1. Say the work basket 40-50 times.
2. Word sounds different.

Basically, the reason for this is that as you say it more, your brain pulls it apart and analyses it, something it doesn't bother to do - and wouldn't have the chance to - when you only say it once as part of a constructed sentence. So your brain pulls it apart into "better" small parts, and then reconstructs it in a way it can more properly understand.
So effectively, the new way you're hearing and thinking of the word, is better than the old way and you will be able to better utilize it mathematically in your brain.
