The original post seems to be describing WILD (Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming), which actually gets you into sleep paralysis, although in VERY general terms.
Although sleep paralysis is not necessary, it can be used to get lucid easily (i.e. you wak up in the middle of the night and you are in SP). If you are somewhat used to it and are aware that anything you see or feel is invented by you (which I am neither of both trololo) it can even be fun.

It works if you persevere and keep taking in to account the fact that everything you see is not real. After a short while, I took that on board and the fear sank away, instead leaving behind a proper sense of control. All the nightmare-ish shit vanished after a few minutes. All you have to do is NOT be scared and remain focused. That's when the cool shit happens. I went from being cornered by a giant scorpion to intergalactic adventures with Kamina from Gurren Lagann and David Mitchell the comedian.

I've had many lucid dreams before but never involving sleep paralysis. i was simply in my dream, and realized "wait this is just a dream, i can do whatever i want" and then i went and fucked the nearest girl, then jumped off the nearest cliff because that always woke me up.
I did this accidentally a few months ago, I had the fucking most horrible nightmare ever and it wasn't even scary. It was something to do with an elevator but it was the first time I've ever been genuinely terrified. Couldn't sleep the whole night afterwards and had to lay awake with my light on for like 6 hours.
Still tempted to try again tonight though.

Oh sleep paralysis, is that what it's called...?
I always loved it, nightmarish things and all

I tried this for the first time ever a little while ago, I knew I was sleeping and tried to move my fingers (like really, I tried all I could) build they wouldn't move at all. Then I saw a grey door in the middle of a white empty space and walked towards it, opened it, and walked into an extremely bright white light. While it sounds kinda cheesy it actually happend.

This makes me realize that I had sleep paralysis once, it is kind of scary. I did not have any hallucinations, however I could not move my body, it took an extreme amount of force and energy to wake myself up. I could feel myself slowly turning towards the edge of the bed hoping the fall would wake me up. Luckily I managed to wake up before falling.

Thanks for letting people know about this, I've tried to achieve lucid dreaming but the results I've come up with were all terryfying.
Once I entered sleep paralysis and opened my eyes, only to see a huge black centipede crawling up on my exposed leg, under my blanket and onto my face.
I've never tried it again since (I am terrified of insects with many legs)

To be honest, there aren't many things I am afraid of. But the things I fear, I fear them quite much.
Many legged insects, compact darkness, large windows, being the only one awake in a house and cracking floorboards are a few.
And that kind of sucks, since I always manage to stay up til ~0:30 at least, then having to get out of my light room, into our big, dark room that's also connected to our even bigger (and darker) living room. Also, the floorboards ouside my rooms crack. And there are big windows in our living room and the room outside mine.

If you don't want to see creepy people in your sleep paralysis, watch porn before trying to reach this state. The subconscious is filled with deep fear and pleasure. It will normally show you your fears, unless it remembers something else. However if you ever reach sleep paralysis do this: Try to wiggle your toes and fingers, due to the fact that they are far away from your brain ,it should wake you up.
